I was told that an idea for a Ultimate "original" Godzilla was considered along with the Ultimate Zilla....unfortunately that was as far as it got I believe.

Apparently he's sold them off. Too bad, would love to know where I could get one of those 10" Godzillas. I'm seriously considering getting a cheap one to customize.

They were a lot, I believe. I couldn't afford them, anyway.

The only one I would have wanted was an Anguirus, but I'm disappointed it is in the "dirty" Doom Island paint scheme. Well, I gues the second would of course be a 10 inch Biollante. Again, Biollante too, has "dirty" Doom paint, but I believe there was a 10 inch Godzilla Wars Biollante in the bright green and red that looks much better.

Speaking of all the Godzilla Doom Island figures, did you know there is a wicked Doom Island Unreleased MegaMutation 6" Destroyah listed on eBay right now:

Ive been searching Ebay for a few Trendmasters figures and I came across this.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Trendmasters-GO ... 19d7d92783

Anyone else know anything else regarding this set? Reminds me a bit of the GMK Playset but I assume the figures included in this set are about 4" but im keeping an eye on this one.

EdIt: If anyone else is missing any of the Micro Playsets Ie: Spacegodzilla and Biollante set. Found the Biollante set for fairly cheap (bid only)

I've still got that set from when I was little. It's from 1994 and is pretty self explanatory, but comes with a little 4" Mecha Ghidorah and a large Godzilla action figure that's like, 7" tall or so. This set is pretty big. The Godzilla has its mouth open in a "firing" position so that the fire beams can be placed into his mouth and shot back out at certain targets on the city set, destroying them in a sense. From what the instructions state I think it can be treated as both a game and a play set. It's a sweet set either way.

I just found on old TM commercial from TNT advertising a write-in contest. The Grand Prize was a trip to Fiji (birthplace of Godzilla according to the commercial??). Secondary prizes included Godzilla apparel and toys. Does anyone else remember this? I wonder if TM ever made good on that contest heh...

As a kid I only ever had the smaller figures. I loved them and have a lot of them still. At last year's G-Fest there was a seller who had a collection of the 10 inch figures. I didn't think anything of it at the time but I kind of wish I would have at least asked about them now. As cool as the little ones are, after having checked them out more online the larger ones seem pretty awesome.

TNT and Trendmasters, never thought I would see that on the same screen. Such memories.
I wonder why it was void in New York and Florida? That is odd.

I've seen that "varsity" jacket on eBay before though! A very, very, long time ago.

TNT and Trendmasters were two of the best things of my childhood. Never saw that (very cool) commercial though.

You're welcome. Yeah I wish people would post or link us to what they are talking about sometimes. Especially on obscure commercials, but this is why we have the 'Net. :huge:

Man, I wish I got into Godzilla earlier than I did.
I only have a couple of the six inch figures, loose, which I got from friends who unloaded their old Godzilla toys onto me years ago.

Perhaps one of these days, I'll hunt down more of them. Especially the 10" scaled figures. Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla are a couple of the best looking sculpts.

I wish I took better care of mine, not just throw them in a box time after time again. My poor MG is still missing an arm, and his face is falling off (repairing that).

I have a question that's answer is foggy in my memory.

And in the reviews of Joshua Reynolds (username?) state his are both broken...

http://www.tohokingdom.com/toys/biollan ... asters.htm

http://www.tohokingdom.com/toys/gigan_s ... sters.html

I know that Trendmasters commonly misplaced the incorrect sound chips in the wrong monster, but it seems like some believe that Biollante first possessed a shoosh, shoosh, shoosh, boom-type noise. However, my memory says it was a piercing whine, not unlike Mothra's piercing cry, but it wasn't Mothra's sound chip. I also have had some people state Biollante had a grrrrrrowl-type noise that was in the Spacegodzilla figures, perhaps like this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... bZY#t=177s

Although, my Spacegodzilla has that humm, humm, humm, telekentic-type noise. Like this one...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZBhwwWG ... age#t=869s

Well crap, as I was researching this I may have found the Biollante answer  ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jAl5Wxusac

Also, the same goes for Gigan, in which he had a buzz, buzz, buzz-cutting noise that was the same that MOGUERA has. Yet later releases had Gigan with the shoosh, shoosh, shoosh, boom-type noise.

For reference, Megalon possess the appropriate shoosh, shoosh, shoosh, boom-type noise. :huge:
