Well it's between this Megalon and the Bandai Megaguirus. I'm aiming toward the former.

Yes, the movie variant. They're both at $70, so I'm deciding which to get. But that Megalon sure does look cool, plus it seems harder to find than Megaguirus.

I always wondered why you have everything nice and open on display in your collection, except for that set. Why only keep that set in the box?

It looks great just the way it is in the box. I just ordered the Mechagodzilla w/Blackhole alien off eBay, and expect it to look similar and plan to keep it displayed, boxed. To me, some of the 23/25cm X-Plus GarageToys look great in the box as the window shows enough of the figure(s). Would love to see a 25cm '68 DAM G with the Rocket Ship X-2 displayed in the window! I would love X-Plus to start packaging some Godzilla movie vehicles that are in scale with the figures.I know they have done it with one or two, but not frequently enough.
Also, if i ever do have to sell some or all of my G figures, I assume the variants will be worth more.

Anyone care to poke me in the general direction as to where I could possibly place an order for the black Gigabrain Ghidorah?

I just found out I might be able to pick up a REALLY good summer job, and if I can get the extra funds... WWWWOOOOAAAAHHH MOMMA!

^I think you're going to have to do some inquiries if you're going to find it. If I'm understanding this right, there were only 59 for sale at the event on the 30th, so...yeah, might be tough to find one. I'd send Steve Agin or Chris over at Grumble Toys an e-mail asking about it; they seem to get ahold of these types of things pretty regularly. Good luck!

The black Gigabrain King Ghidorah was sold at the 59th Super Festival show on April 30, 2012. Production run is unknown.
