Yeah, Albatross is known for statues mostly made out of solid resin mixed with powdered stone aka polystone. Most are in the 12inch scale. Can be delicate but made to be showcased and not played with.

I got into them when they released Mechani-Kong but it was impossible to get him so I went with their G'54. Box is nice and big and layered in styrofoam.

i have their Mechanikong, Meganuron, GMK G and GMK Baragon. I haven't had any issues with the polystone, but sometimes their paint leaves a bit to be desired considering the price tag. I think they are closer to the 9" scale than 12", they are smaller than the 25cm X-Plus figures.

Damn, they got some real nice stuff. Way out of my price range though, definitely something that I won't be able to pick up until I'm out of school and working full-time. hahaha.

Kaiyodo is releasing 4 more model kits. 89, 93, 94 and 95 and all produced by Yuji Sakai.

I really like the 95 version out of all of them

Excellent reviews! The only one I missed out on was Kaiju A at this point... I went from wanting to get just the one Bandai to ordering nearly the whole set. I really love the designs though so I'm not too ashamed.

Quick question- did you get all of those shipped from HLJ? I ordered the same HG set from there but I'm still waiting on the payment request for the MKS Godzilla; that's why I'm curious. The sooner I pay for that thing, the sooner I can combine shipping and send them to my home.

I'm pretty sure that set doesn't come out until early next year some time. HLJ has a March release date and there are no sets up oh yahoo auctions japan, so don't worry about missing it yet. Also, it seems the set name will include "vol. 2"
