Gamera is now on his way to my humble home. I kinda dig the blue look but I really wanted it in metallic colors like how Marmit did Neronga.

Has this been posted before? Apparently coming out in December. Big fan of Kotobukiya's kits.

Back when it was revealed, yep. It's very big and a nice concept, I'd like to get it, but it literally fits in with nothing I own. Sooo... :/

I'd assume it fits in with Koto's Gunhed, but it seems to be of a smaller scale.

Are those perhaps gashapon size toys? I know that they are posable.

I bought my Godzilla one on ebay. There are plenty on there around $10 shipped, which would probably be about the same if you ordered on HLJ.
Otherwise, I'm not really sure. I never saw the Godzilla car on sites like AmiAmi.

I've seen the Godzilla vehicle on Amazon a few times. Monsters In Motion might have them, they like to sell eccentric Godzilla stuff like that, especially if it has to do with kaiju and cars.

Pictures of the first wave of those mini Action Ultraman figures have surfaced -

These are actually really neat and cute. Think I'm going to have to pick these up.

Not bad for about $4 each. I'll keep my eye's out for this set.

On Amazon, actually, as we've discovered! Go to the 'Godzilla Cars?' thread...

For some reason, Medicom will be releasing 11-inch and 27.5-inch tall statues of the Godzilla Bearbrick... priced at $99 and $485.

Probably the same reason that Gentle Giant Ltd is issuing jumbo versions of the original crappy Star Wars figs from the 70s/80s...

That's more of a nostalgia novelty. I just don't know who would need a $600 version of a $6 bear-shaped figure.

I believe there is a market for oversized 'retro' toys; I recall reading that it had to do with adults feeling like children again by holding larger toys that are proportionate to their adult hands the same way the original toys were proportionate to their child hands, or something like that.

In other news, the Ultraman vs Kamen Rider HG set is out now, and while I don't have it yet, the photos I've seen make the set look quite nice:

http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/auc- ... 00d44-007/

I still get a kick out of seeing Ultraman on Kamen Rider's motorcylce, and Kamen Rider doing the Specium Ray pose. The villains also look pretty cool; I'm not sure why I like Gadoras so much, since he's a fairly generic kaiju. Maybe it's the green colouration and the red eyes, or maybe it's because he reminds me a little of Bogun, one of my favourite Ultra kaiju.

Anyway, the set looks good.
