I'm talking about the Revoltech line. I think what I said was very clear.

Yeah, really. I see this shit all the time and it aggravates the living piss out of me. Review a toy on it's own terms. Critique the sculpt, the design and the paint. Don't knock the f@cking thing because it doesn't scale with the random Bandai Creation toy you want it to fight with in a Youtube video. Gah.

Okay, so this time Bandai's changging their scale, but this is a brand new line and series. Its not really important for them to scale it since they are of a separate series, and as long as the figures of the new line scale well against each other it shouldnl;t pose a problem

finally someoneelse who doesn't understand the scale obsession
I just care for the figure itself and i thought revoltech gigan looked great next to my bandai 8'' gigan.
Sad that the sh monsterarts are a bitpricey but i still gonna buy them.

=/

Well, excuse me for preferring the 6'' scale.

I'm just saying that it'd look better displayed with my other figures if they were all able to match up. If you dont care about scale, thats fine, but that doesnt mean you can just start slamming those who do care.

After all, the Ultra-Act figures are 6'' scale. Dont see why these cant be as well. Would be a great way to market them both; "Godzilla vs Ultraman."

Since when does Bandai EVER mix their Godzilla and Ultraman licenses in any way shape or form. Godzilla is it's own separate thing. Man, you must really hate the 8" Toho Bandais for not being in scale with the 6" Ultramonsters huh? Damn, if only Bandai knew how disappointed American collectors are in their toys and the lack of accurate scale. If only they knew how important Youtube reviews and stop motion videos were to young American collectors. Then everything would be in scale and we'd all be happy.

Sure they'd look better scaled correctly, but that's not the point of these new toys. Don't knock them because they're not what YOU want. It's that sense of entitlement again I see all the time in hardcore fans.

I guess I'm just a sucker for crossovers. lol.

I only own 3 (Kasier Ghidorah, Chainsaw Gigan, and Godzilla '03) so it doesnt bother me. Plus I have hell of a lot of 6'' that they can match up with. =P

I know right?

lol.

But seriously, I'm just saying this; if they're gonna make it a certain size, I dont see the harm in making them in an established scale. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesnt care for Revoltech purely because they're so small.

Sure they'd look better scaled correctly, but that's not the point of these new toys. Don't knock them because they're not what YOU want. It's that sense of entitlement again I see all the time in hardcore fans.

Its more along the lines of disappointment.

But hey, this could all be a big misunderstanding. They could be 6'' scale and the guy just wasnt able to properly identify their size. I'm hoping thats the case.

Revoltechs are closer in scale with bandais then Gashapon.

Gashapon sucks because they don't fit with my Bandai Godzilla...

I don't mind scale at all. I tend to keep my small figures together, and my 6" figures together, but they don't look bad together at all.

I am going to buy the Godzilla. but that is about it. Because the prices are a bit ridiculous.

I'm mixed on scale. Normally it doesn't bother me, but sometimes when it's dramatic it can get to me, such as how Bandai Creation's Godzilla '68 is so damn tall compared to not only Bandai Japan's stuff but their own other releases. (The least of that figure's problems but still.) It's not something I'd knock points for though.

Personally I'd rather they increase scale than decrease.

I hope you're staying all weekend then, because these'll probably fly off the shelves. Most "expensive" figures are virtually gone by Sunday. I only saw one Titanosaurus this year and only 2 or 3 MechaGodzilla '75 figures. Not to mention no Revolotechs, or pretty much any Bandai standard that wasn't reissued multiple times. Sad thing is Sunday is usually when you can catch the best prices, too.

We will be there all weekend.

But I guess that answered my question. Online it'll be.

G-Fest is great for finding good prices, don't get me wrong, everytihng I buy there I usually save $5, but when it's a new release it tends to disappear pretty quick (although still virtually every 6" Bandai is at your fingertips)

Does this company not want these things to sell at all?

Just to clear up confusion in my brain,

Are these being released to the states or are they Japan exclusive?
