Yeah, I heard.

Both look pretty beast, MechaG especially. Goji's eyes look slightly off. Some red instead of white woulda been better suited to the eyes. Plus, the heat ray accessory looks pretty meh. Oh well. And MechaG is...well, its MechaG! How can you not love that thing? And the Megabuster accessory looks pretty good, too.

Shame about the prices though.

I think I heard in scale with bandai 6-inch vinyls.

$70.00?
Worth it. Godzilla will be mine, in all of his posable glory.

^Absolutely. If they're anything like the Ultra-Act line of kaiju, then they are must haves for me. The U-A Gomora is one of the favorite figures I own and would love to have a Godzilla in the same style. My only real gripe is that I wish it weren't the Heisei suit. No, no, I don't hate the suit or anything, I just feel it's over-used. I would rather a 62, 64, or how awesome would a pose-able 68 Godzilla be? Drool. But I'm not surprised, or even really disappointed about it; I'm a fan, I have to bitch about something, right?

Let's focus on the big news here....WORLDWIDE RELEASE, does that mean we won't have to import them or rely on eBay/dealers?

Yes, that means Bandai is going to allow at least for the SH MonsterArts 1994 Godzilla to be officially imported and distributed into the US. Most likey these will be sold only thru speciality hobby retail shops. So don't except to find these at Toys R' Us.

$70?

Sorry, I'll pass. While these look amazing, I find no toy release nowadays worth $70. I blame the price of oil..

Oh man. Next info is when will we be able to pre-order them? If they will be distributed to the US, will it be through Diamond? Should we be watching Previews for when it will be available to the shops?
Eh, I suppose we'll just be able to straight order them from a distributor in this case, right?

Yes, I would say look thru Previews. Most likey the August or September issues will offer them. I'm sure US online stores will most likey get them also like BigBadToyStore. If all else fails and it does not appear there then you still have Hobby Search Japan, Hobby Link Japan, AmiAmi, etc.

Hell, from my experience, there may be a chance that it would actually be cheaper, if not the same to get it from HLJ when they put up the pre-order. They usually knock a bit off the retail and then run specials on pre-orders all the time, plus SAL shipping isn't always that expensive...

Awh, $70? Shit. I'm too cheap to let myself spend that much money on a toy.

I really want those figures but the price is horrible. I know they are bigger than the revoltechs but they shouldn't cost that much more. I might as well spend even more and get an X-plus if they stick with those prices.

Agreed the prices are pretty out there... but I am sticking to my goal of at least owning the Goji. I would LOVE the burning Goji as well.

I pre-ordered Godzilla because I need it with every fiber of my being. I figure if I like it, I'll get Mechagodzilla too. Space Godzilla is probably going to be a definite for me, though. and Burning Godzilla. I'm going to be broke.

I still say the prices won't be quite that high. Especially if you know where and how to buy things like this. Also, if they're any where around the size of Ultra-Act kaiju, then the price is pretty much on par. Again, if you haven't held, say, U-A Gomora, then you can't quite get that these are going to be pretty hefty hunks of plastic. They aren't hollow vinyl, and that plastic comes at a price. Also, if these are more in the line of SH Figuarts, then I imagine the joints will be of a higher quality than the U-A's. I'm nothing but excited, and this is plenty of time to set aside money for these...

^^^Where did you pre-order it at???
