I've had the Baragon since it was released and today I broke down and finally ordered the Mothra, Mogera and Rodan.

That Gigan coming out looks awesome. The only thing is if I'm better off getting this cool one over a Bandai 6 inch so it scales better with the rest.

seeing KaijuSapian's pictures made me break down and order Rodan.

I'm wondering though, is it really as light as it looks in those pictures? in the promotional shots he looked a lot darker and redder.

That's probably due to lighting and the camera I was using. In reality it's a darker tone, closer to my hair color in that last picture (which in turn was also lightened up quite a bit).

cool. it wouldn't bother me terribly if it was that light, but I was kind of hoping it was just your pictures, lol.

and damn you for posting those and making me impulse buy. oh well, Baragon needs some Revoltech pals to pose with.

I've got some serious catching up to do. As a huge Gigan fan, getting that figure will be my highest priority of the bunch followed by the Rodan and Baragon.

I've just received my Revoltech Rodan and friends it is just outstanding and awesome!!!! For the 40-50 bucs spent on these figure sets, you cannot go wrong! Like I said before, I'm a serious collector and the 2 huge things I look for are articulation & detail. By far these Revoltech creations blow away Bandai's & Sakai's mini Gashapon/dioramas by a landslide. I know some of you out there don't care for them as much but for me it's the greatest thing since sliced bread! I mean you get a fully detailed/painted figure (that pretty much matches the movie character), fully articulated at just about every joint & comes with it's own mini diorama environment. Simply outstanding. Kudos to Kaiyodo/Revoltech for their research and field studies. I've waited close to 35 years for kaijus/monsters like these to come out on the market place. I believe they will be doing more Harryhausen figures as well since they obviously have the license for the skeleton warriors from Jason and the Argonaughts. How cool would it be if they did the Cyclops, Ymir, Talos etc. As for some of the other movie monsters they did, I have the Alien, Jason, Mazor Canon & Gamera. I also have the skeletons, Gigan & Predator on pre-order. Again, outstanding figures!!!

Please keep it up and produce more figure sets!!!!!

I plan on buying one of these soon, but I'm not sure which one. I'm leaning to Anguirus, but Gigan does look sick.

I'm going to get Revoltech's Gigan figure soon. I wish they do figures of the Showa Godzilla soon.

Compared to 90% of what's out there in Japan right now these are actually a decent bargain. People need to stop bitching. They can't all be $10 Bandai Creation toys. These things could be $80-100 Marmits or $200+ X-Plus figures. They're not.

^ but unlike you and alot of other hardcore collectors, a $50 toy is a little ridiculous...let alone a +$200 toy!
Don't try to be something else. Don't try to be less. Great things are going to happen in your life. Great things. And with that will come great responsibility.

Well....

Gigan:
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail

The Gigan's price is $42.99, arriving probably February 2011

Anguirus:
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail

Anguirus is slightly higher $44.99, arriving probably in the 1st Quarter of 2011, January of course.

So I'm sure you can buy at least the Gigan. :)
Oh and the Gigan figure is 6in, and Anguirus at least when on all fours measures to 10 inches from snout to tail. When standing, I think maybe 6in.

I'm a big fan of Revoltech and seeing that I normaly don't buy Godzilla figures but Gigan will be the main one I will be buying for sure.

JVM wrote:If these weren't so bloody expensive... oh my God...

There not that expensive. Most of the Revoltech stuff is around $25-50, my normal Eva Unit 01 figure from Revoltech was around $15 when I bought it nearly three years ago.
