Well didn't the last gamera figures just come out in Nov? And if I remember right there was a six month delay between G2/Legion, and the previously released Gamera figures. SO... (does math) if we don't hear anything by summer I would say it'd look grim for more revoltech Kaiju.

Both of those Gameras are nice figures.

Get both Legion and Gyaos. You will NOT be disappointed.

While we wait, here is a nice custom made (I believe) G3 revoltech figure.

That is cool. It almost looks authentic.

Wouldn't it be funny if, in the next few months, we discovered that it really is a prototype?

Who made this, and how can I get in contact with them to buy 20?

I just received my Revoltech Anguirus yesterday, and Mothra just arrived at the Post Office today!

Angy is a FANTASTIC figure, so much more articulation than the SH MonsterArts figures that's for sure. I also just ordered Rodan today. Now to find Gigan, Mogera, and Baragon at reasonable prices. ALSO the Maser Tank and Atragon XD

Baragon's perhaps one of the MOST expensive of the Revoltech kaiju figures I've found. I'm trying to find him for a much more reasonable price - within the $40 range at least.

^ Have you checked HobbyLink Japan? With S&H included their Revoltechs are about $40-$45.

I usually buy my SH MonsterArts figures from them because they're quick to ship once they have them in stock.

However, I ordered a $28.00 Revoltech Mothra from them, and shipping by FedEx costed MUCH more than the item itself (totalling up to $106.00). That's where I am a little weary.
It's ok for my MonsterArts because they're shipped to my parents place rather than my current location on Guam, and you'd think shipping be cheaper since Guam is just several hours away from Japan!

Anyways, Baragon is on backorder, and knowing HLJ, they usually have things on backorder for quite a while before getting them in stock. So I think I'll pass HLJ for now.

$106!?! I bought Mothra from them last month, and it was about $30 total IIRC. Shipping took a while, but Christ, $106?!? Did the delivery person give you a reach around, too?

It was pretty insane. I really don't know what happened. I'll try to order something from them again and see if it happens again. If it does, then I have some questions to ask. Not to HLJ, but to Fedex since it was only shipping that costed me a lot.

I think it's 'cuz you're in Guam. It's not a location that gets 'volume' in shipping.

Unless Sci-Fi Revoltech does some more kaiju, Harryhausen creatures, or Jurassic Park dinos, I won't be ordering any more of their stuff.

I'm more interested in their kaiju and anime mecha rather than their other properties.

But, shipping to Guam should cost the exact same as shipping to the states since Guam is United States territory. I've had no trouble with Amazon.com nor BigBadToyStore when it came to shipping here. Eh, who knows. I won't think much about it. Let it be a lesson for me lol!

^ That shipping sounds like a mistake, or outright nefariousness. There's no excuse or justification for that level of gouging.

Revoltech should really make Gappa or Yongary. I would definitely buy a Revoltech Gappa.

Damn, same here. If I'd known they'd all double in price I probably would have grabbed one or two back when they came out. :(

I don't really follow the Japanese toy market, is there any chance more of these will get produced, driving the price down, or am I screwed?

EDIT: Looks like my boy Moguera and Baragon have stayed relatively cheap, I'll probably start with those two mo-fos. Maybe as a birthday present to myself next month...
