Where TF my SHMA Megalon, Showa King Caesar, DesGhidorah, and Gorosaurus?
This lines a snore.
Yeah, Godzilla wins... sometimes. I mean, he was killed by Dr. Serizawa's patented bubble-bath formula, heartburn, missiles, and poor box office returns, got his ass kicked by a drunken, circus-escaped gorilla, then he was beaten by two newborn worms, yeah some “king”.

That moment when you paint mouths better than Tamashii.. repainting my birth Ver. Yes the entire month has been repainted. The only parts I didn’t cover in black was the eyes. Everything else is by hand. ImageImage

I wouldn't go that far. Marginally better work on the teeth maybe?

I didn't say it looks awful or worse. I simply said it doesn't look better, as was stated. It looks like average Tamashii levels of painting.

Now by average do you mean the good painted figures like birth. Or the ones that are absolutely shit like shin and UBG. Because I was going off of tamashiis current releases. Which have really poor teeth paint. I can’t compare to the stunning work on something like G2000 for example

I'm going by when I saw those photos and had to look for any differences between yours and factory. Are they well painted? Yup. Are they "better" than the original paint scheme on that figure? No, I don't think so. Granted, I could be wrong. Feel free to post a side-by-side with the original paint scheme (I'm sure you have a photo of the figure's original paint job). But I know my figure's teeth look more or less just like that.

Yeah, it's good, but I wouldn't say it's better than the original Birth. Maybe some less paint slop?

Looks great, but still looks like Tamashii...Now, that is NOT an insult by any means. Means a non pro can get it to pro levels :huge: . I did that to mine just not to that extent. I just painted a few sore spots an ivory color.

Wonder how big and expensive a shma of Ghidorah 2018 would be.

Custom SHMA Godzilla Birth Ver repaint. . I’ve been getting a lot of praise for this one. People say it’s my best yet. And I think so too. However it’s kinda sad when a 16 year old amateur can paint on par or better than a high end action figure company. I’m looking for honest opinions so if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't say on par, but its a good custom! You got some paint slop on the fangs, and nails on the toes and fingers look murky. The spines look wonderful! The smaller ones on the tail look really good. Keep improving, you've made a ton of progress!

The teeth actually have a thin layer of paint. I just fucked em up over time. I can post photos of them before painting, they where not looking so good. The right fang is actually a reconstructed one I made years back as it got chipped some how. The claws. Yeah. I was trying to get a SCV 2000 look on them but my inexperience made it hard and I do think they came out a little murky looking. Thanks for the criticism! I’m gonna try and improve in the future!

Don't worry Manda I'm sure my great-grand kids will enjoy those figures.

This coming from a guy who doesn't plan to have kids.
