If I had to guess, I suspect there's already some prep work being done on Ghidorah, but that they'll wait and see how the film and the toy line does before moving forward with Ghidorah. If the line is a big success, then I'm sure they'll get to Ghidorah. Again, some of those deluxe Pacific Rim monsters were even larger than Ghidorah, and far less popular (although perhaps easier to engineer).

Either way, plans change. Maybe they were gonna do Ghidorah, but that isn't the plan as of now. If if were the other way around and they went from not doing it to doing it, everyone would immediately accept the change. However, this isn't what you guys want to hear so you're ignoring it as if that'll make it go away.

I believe that the downfall of some of these figures will come from the monster designs themselves. I have not seen anything consistent for any of the monsters other than Godzilla himself so far.

Let me reiterate and expand upon my words earlier for one in particular.

King Ghidorah throws me off, since from an engineering standpoint, he's very impractical. His center of mass is in front of his feet, and high up on his body. His legs are thin and bird-like, rather than the columns that the Heisei and Showa King Ghidorah's had. The wings and tails help just a little to counter balance, but not enough. Couple these design issues with loose joints, and we have a problem.

As nice as the 2019 King Ghidorah looks, he has balance issues that you can't even blame Tamashii for. Let's see what happens when he's released, though.
I'd change my username if I had the chance. It's a typo. It's supposed to be "66," and it's a very unfortunate thing to have on my account. Please help. :lol:

The one SHMA I am considering is the Rodan. I love the paint scheme on it. I suspect the NECA wasnt painted 100% this weekend. We will see. And I agree with 666. KG looks scary.

Is anyone here that's pre ordered it worried at all?

Randy has a pattern of saying something to hype up a reveal. Rodan wasn't in the plans two weeks either and now look. He's telling people there are no plans to hype up the reveal later on.

I'll be shocked if we get to sdcc and there is no King Ghidorah or G(v3).

Per the NECA thread, they didn't want to do KG cause it'd be too big and be a "$150 price difference" so even if they did Ghidorah it wouldn't be much cheaper than SHMA.
