Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
Thanks, G1985. Apparently the Battle Damage Wal-Mart version roars too. The back of the package says that it will eat 20 mini-dinos. I also got the Mosasaurus, which comes with it's flippers and tail un-attached while in the box...
EDIT: Found Battle-Damaged Velociraptor Blue at Wal-Mart today. Only $9.84 + tax...

Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
As it was said in the Jurassic Park forum, the age of articulated dinosaurs is here!
That makes stop motion a lot easier for me. No I don’t HAVE TO make puppets to make a dinosaur film.
What are you guys most excited for/like to see in the Beats of the Mesozoic line?
I would like to see Carnotaurus, Ankylosaurus, Allosaurus, and Yutyrannus.
Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for those ceratopsians.

Some super-articulated sauropods would be nice. I'd probably be down for a Therizinosaurus, too.

Y'all can keep the Stegosaurus. Been done plenty of times, and I'm not a huge fan of the critter. A new Ankylosaurus would be nice. A new BIG Spinosaurus is coming too...

https://sta.sh/0iwzihy4yp6 picked up the target exclusive Rex today and the articulation is leaps and bounds better than what the standard has been and the price point makes it even better

I picked up a JW Stygimoloch the other day. Decent-looking figure. Probably the only member of its species I'm ever likely to get in toy form for seven bucks, so why not?

I grabbed one of the Attack Pack Blues, and it's OK? Not as good as the bigger ones, but it's not bad. Here's my review:

Finally found the Roarivores asst. at my local Wal-Mart, and Allosaurus was there! Score!

I want the Metriacanthasaurus myself. I saw it at Walmart the other day, but I was broke...

Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
That one was there too, but I was too stoked to bother with the others in the asst. I will probly pick up Metria, as I have a thing for bipedal carnivores, and Metria, to the best of my knowledge, has never been in a JP/JW line-up...JAGzilla wrote:I want the Metriacanthasaurus myself. EDIT: Picked up a Metriacanthosaurus today - love it! Not sure about the Baronyx. That Triceratops is growing on me though, it's pretty nice, and a lot better than that green Battle Damage one...

Hey guys, here's my review of the Roarivores Allosaurus, only one of those I've picked up thus far, but definitely getting more!

Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
Found a replacement for my first Mosasaurus - it's box was pretty beat up and there was some green paint across the nose that should not have been there. New one does not have the green paint and the box is in excellent shape. I'll be returning the first one shortly...

Been looking for the non-Battle Damage SuperColossal T-Rex. No luck so far...
EDIT: Looks like I may have to have it shipped Target site-to-store in order to get one...

Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
Took the plunge - ordered the SuperColossal T-Rex off Target.com, had it shipped to the closest Target I could. I like it better than the bloody Wal-Mart version. $54.99, plus tax. Box has a few minor dings, teeth could look better, but if they become easier to find, I can always switch it out for a nicer one later. This is a helluva lot of beast for the dough...
EDIT: Apparently a waste of time & gas to go to Conroe - picked up a SuperColossal T-Rex at the Target here in Huntsville TODAY. Thinking about taking one out of the package & messing around with it...
