Finding effects part Substitutes

Post by darthzilla99 »

I thought it would be fun to list effect parts from various toy series and talk about ways to use them in monsterarts, necas, ect...

Using DBZ parts:
We all know how expensive it can get to find blue atomic breath effects for various Godzilla figures besides the new Neca Atomic blast Godzilla. Well I found that many of the Bandai hobby DBZ models can double for effect parts for kaiju figures.

Those can work great for blue Atomic breath pieces for a lot of Godzilla figures.

The SSJ 4 Vegeta model kit has a final shine beam effect piece that works great as an Acid effect piece for SH monsterarts Biollante.

This effect piece looks like a good substitute for a plasma grenade for Super Mechagodzilla.

The Final form Frieza model kit has a pink finger beam effect part that works for either a Hedorah eye beam part or it can be given a purple paint job to use as a beam effect for shin Godzilla figures.

Android 17 model kit has a green shield effect part that if given a new paint job could work as a spacegodzilla shield.

Those are just some things I thought of.
GVK: TNE is a modern day 70s Showa Godzilla movie. Being a massive budget modern blockbuster CGI film instead of traditional 70s tokusatsu techniques doesn't change that.

Monsterverse is not similar to either MCU nor Bayformers just because all three are big budget CGI blockbuster franchises.

Why not make some from scratch? It's a ton cheaper and quite fun.

Any/all FiguRise effects part packs are a cheap and great alternative to the Tamashii parts. If your skilled with painting, you can really make them POP and for their discounted price you can have a plethora of various effects.
