From what was explained to me by Tamashii, the first release figure is Godzilla Earth, but back when it originally appeared (so basically the flashback scenes?). This new release is of Godzilla Earth at the end of Planet of Monsters.

I don't think so, seeing as Godzilla Earth didn't have his goatee when he was 50 meters.

The spines look bigger but I could be wrong. I don't know if it's possible But I would have made Fillius articulated, it would have. Even worth making him 2 inches of they could have added some articulation.

How tall is Jr 3 inches?

Not so sure if the spines have changed, but the chin spikes... don't really look anything like they do in the movie. They look so tacked on and flimsy. There's definitely a lighter teal paint app over the body compared to the original's darker green.

Another smaller non-articulated Godzilla included, so you can start your own Russian Godzilla dolls collection

An SHMA of the anime Mechagodzilla would probably be so fragile from all the spiky parts that it would break if you stared at it for too long. That or it would perforate your hands whenever you tried to handle it.
