That flying thing looks a hell of a lot like a Graboid/bat hybrid I designed.

Could you do a close-up of the bat creatures face?

Now I want the Kong. I still want an highly articulated one.

As much as I appreciate being offered a monster-sized (and inexpensive) Kong figure,I don't have room for it! I'm hoping that Lanard will release a scaled-down version.

Nah, I really only want the big Kong (and maybe the other creatures, once they're on sale).

Found some at my Walmart today. They had the boat, helicopter and a Skull crawler set and Spider set.

Found two of the BIG Kong and the Skull Crawler/Flying Thing sets at my local Wal-Mart this AM. Took one Kong home for $24.86 + tax, the 'Creature' sets are about $15 each. Kong's packaging was minty, eyes were good, a little too much pink gum at the base of Kong's upper canines, but hey, it's only 25 bucks, so what can ya do? My gf loves it, and so do I. Kong's kind of packaging does not fare well on a store shelf for any length of time, so it's best to grab it when ya see it, or face the horrors of damaged package later on...

My walmart appeared to have the full line. I bought the set with Sam Jackson and the Skull Crawler - not a bad amount of play value for just 10 bucks.

I'm eying Kong. He's only 25 which isn't bad either and the fact that he's roughly in scale with the figures is pretty nifty.

So there's no toys based on the 70's Kong?

Outside of a few model kits, I don't think so.

I would love for the new movie to open doors to get products based on '75 Kong, say what you want about the movie, Rock Baker's suit was fantastic.

There was this roughly 12" tall one, made by Mego as part of a dart-shooter playset:

I WAS going to get the big Kong 2017 figure but I think I'll just wait for them to do figures for Godzilla vs. Kong.

Wow, I found the entire line at my local Walmart, basically it was just 1 of each toy. The Kong itself looks incredible in person. I might pick it up eventually, not sure though. I must say this, the prices for these things are incredible, if it were for a line like Star Wars, they would probably be 3x the price.

Finally found him! Putting off a full review until after I see him in-action, but I can't say I'm much disappointed with this figure. Could manage some more articulation, and feels very frail, but looks great on camera.

Also, his feet are both on a joint very similar to a ball joint; noticed noone's mentioned that yet. The arm joint swivels on both ends.
