It would ne nice if 9modelism would go through a crowd-funding platform. It could pick up real traction and get out some Kaiju that Tamashii and NECA aren't getting around to. There may be legal barriers in the way, though.

I actually kinda prefer it the FB way, feels much more personal, like I got to talk to him and made my order while discussing the figure with him.

He's currently deciding on whether he'll be doing Behemoth or the Skull Devil from K:SI next.

I'll need Kong in hand first but I'd love to be all to buy figures like Behemoth and Scylla from a fellow fan that does quality work and doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Yeah for sure, and from seeing his previous work with those dinosaur statues, he certainly has a great work ethic.

Thanks. I got accepted into the group earlier and managed to get in on one of the last few of the second batch. Apparently he's gonna do a third one though now that the second is over so if anyone's still wanting one they have that opportunity.

I got a reply - I got me a Skull Island Kong reserved. 9Modelism says that he's gonna do a third batch - but I doubt that he's gonna go beyond that. He's got other stuff to do. He's not trying to make a career on Kong alone...
