I might get the 7" one
Same here. Looks good. That bigger one is too stylized for my taste...

BTW, y'all can kiss that Lanard Skull Crawler good-bye...

That 7 inch figure looks damn nice. 18 incher isn't bad either, but the 7 incher is a must have.

They're based on Joe DeVito's Kong: King of Skull Island illustrations so that would explain the more comic book-y look.

I would have been over a 100% on the big kong if it was 12 inches tall -_- All what I want is a kong to fight my big neca g14, I am totally getting the 7 inch though.

Cant wait for the pics and size comparison, please put him next to as many g14 figures as you can, im sure it won't fit with the MA but maybe looks passable next to the 12 inch neca? 5 inches of difference is too much though i doubt it. I know there is one of 18 inches tall. Which really makes me wonder just why are they missing on such a perfect chance to sell us a 12 inch kong to go with the neca's Is such a waste, such a good kong and there is not an articulated godzilla to fit him in with.

The thing about this one is it's an original design based on the book/graphic novel of the same name, of which I did the initial lettering on. It's not the Legendary Kong, which I think we'll still get from either NECA or SHMA or both in the upcoming years.

BUT

There will be plenty of size comparisons for sure!

I got the color version direct from Mezco, but getting the B&W from BBTS when they get their stock. My belief is the overall stock went out this week to every store.
