I dunno, I think it's a pretty good likeness of the monster, and Planetxman's figure looks to have aged quite well--it still appears fairly new.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Of course I do not expect everyone to appreciate a 46 year old toy. This toy is the rarest in my collection and I now own two of them.

My Megalon Parababy just arrived today. Nice & minty, & complete with it's green flying mini-self. My second Parababy, it's standing on my bookshelf next to the first - 73 MechaG/Fake Godzilla. They look very happy there - guess they both like to read.

I collect both NEW and Old figures. However I don't feel the need to bash someone else's collection because I don't collect those particular toys. The Garamon just happend to be a super rare item in incredible condition and costs me about 3 and a half month's rent. I don't expect everyone to appreciate it or even to have the knowledge of what a toy from 1966 is all about.

Arguements are very easy to start on this forum.

I just bought this for $45. I plan on re-painting him and getting rid of whatever the hell is on his tail.

If that were unpainted it would have went for a LOT more. I wonder if the seller regrets painting those Bandais. There was alos a Kong and Kamakiras from that seller. All repainted. Badly if you ask me.

He did buy it from another seller and I know, but $45 for a Goro you really can't go wrong if you ask me and Kong looks like he was a crack addict or a drag queen which ever you prefer.

$45 for a Gorosaurus you plan to repaint anyway is not that bad. Good luck with him! I'm sure you can get it looking better than that. Who knows? You may have a nice, unique piece when you're done.

If you read through the listings, that's exactly what happened. There are a lot of items up from that seller but most of them are re-painted really poorly...

I'd imagine the guy took it out or filed it down. I am a little glad it isn't there. The tounge just looked weird to me.
