Yesterday I ordered the SH Monsterarts Garuda effect parts for Mechagodzilla from Clawmark Toys. I'll be expecting it to arrive in about a couple of days, or a week or two.

I'm expecting a bunch of stuff during the next week or so. Won a few boxed Ultraman figures from the '80s (original '86 versions of Ultra Mother, Ultra Father and Leo, and an '88 Ultra 80) on ebay, bought a tagged 1994 version Kilazee, getting several newer Ultra monsters thanks to a trade with a friend of mine and if I see it in stock during a trip into NYC this weekend, a MonsterArts Space Godzilla.

He's okay. He looks a helluva lot better with the cape on. Without it his true scrawniness comes out. Unless you're a rabid Zoffy fan I recommend waiting for Ultraman before blowing the sixty or so dollars I see this thing going for. I am relatively disappoint.

They might. Moggy's nowhere near as popular as Mechagodzilla, and he was clearanced out.

Wow, you even splurged for two mantles, huh? I only ordered one since I've got one for my first release Hayata already, but I'm kinda thinking of getting one for Ultraseven as well.

I dunno, I'm a pretty rabid Zoffy fan and that sculpt just looks leagues better than the first Hayata...Eh, it's in the mail; I'll see soon enough.

I'm curious about the Moguera though. How is it? Heisei Moguera is the least interesting mecha/kaiju in the entire series IMO, but much like the Heisei Mechagodzilla (which I never cared for) looking at the MA is making it kind of grow on me.

It's actually fantastic. I very much prefer it to the Mechagodzilla. There's just so much to it that it actually is a value despite the relatively high price tag. And I agree with you about Heisei MOGUERA. However, the figure is a lot more fun than the actual, in-film mech.

AAARRRGHH! My uncle kept procrastinating in getting my mail while I'm away on vacation, so I get the notification that my X-Plus MechaGodzilla has been sent back to the sender.... SECOND FREAKING TIME ALREADY! I'm so pissed. Well, I have no choice but to keep trying to send it again once it gets back to Hobby Search by the end of next week. What a 'perfect' way to start my Friday morning.
