I'd like a good Gorosaurus, but the Bandai one doesn't tickle my fancy entirely, Just doesn't hit that sweet sot, but surprisingly, the Gashapon one does, all things considered.

I knew you'd be pleased with it. Bandai really knocked it out of the park at the time.

When you type CDra, are you pronouncing it Cee-drah in your head? Like Ghi-drah's cousin or something? Because I think that and chuckle to myself every time I read it.

Or the Pokemon, you pick :huge:

Well, since I'm totally ignorant of Poke-lore, I'll go with the estranged three-headed relative.

Aw, what a shame! The evolution of Horsea is Seadra - which is how I would assume it's pronounced. I just enjoy typing CDra much more than your full moniker. And hey, its my personal nickname for you - without the creepiness attached! :huge:

Sounds cool to me. And you get bonus points for not going the easy "CD" route. I'd rather be a Pokemon than digital storage media. ;)

Just bought the SH Mechagodzilla to give my Godzilla some company. Should be here in a couple days via Amazon.

Just won this guy on ebay for $29. He's being shipped from Japan via SAL, so I probably won't have him for a month, but I can stand the wait.

Hell of a deal, CD. Twice that would still be a nice price.

It was from "bbaa77zzhahaha ", the same guy who had that black Kiryu for $23 in the noteworthy auctions thread. He consistently has some really cool deals going on.

Haha...I think we already discussed the time I had a Marmit Titano snatched away from me in a crazy bid war. Thing went for around $250, IIRC, which was twice what I wanted to spend.

So when I saw this guy for roughly 1/8 of that price, I finally said "screw it" and grabbed him. It's not as accurate as the MH, but it's still a damn good representation of him. Love the head sculpt and the little golden eyes, especially.

I can't post this in the SHMA thread, 'cuz I already posted there & no one else has yet.

MOGERA has been released! Just got my notification from AmiAmi - it's in stock! I paid them, & now I await my shipping notice. :huge:

Sweet, man. I don't like the '62 suit much, but the Marmit style really does wonders for it in my eyes.

Oh I'm a sucker for anything G'62. That suit is such a beast - so enormous and intimidating. It gave Godzilla a true sense of size, terror, and strength. For me it works so much better than a skinny humanoid stance. Still absolutely love G'64 and the MegaroGoji suits just as much though, but for different reasons.

I've got three classic Bandais on the way - Baragon, Megalon, and King Kong. Can't wait for them to get here!

Don't get me wrong, I think the '62 was a well conceived and executed design, but it doesn't appeal to my tastes. I like the slimmer (or at least trimmer) bodies too, but it's mainly the head that turns me off. Godzilla has typically possessed very mammalian facial features, so when they go totally reptile on this one, it's off-putting to me.
