@GreenAiden
The Destroyah is Marmit. A newer variant, I take it.

Haven't paid yet, but it looks like I'm getting a Gigabrain Godzilla '62... not sure what color is available yet...

... and a gold Gigabrain Ghidorah. My wallet is hemorrhaging. This means I'll probably have to put off articulated figures such as MA Ghidorah, UA Redking, and UA Max for a few months. But Gigabrain obviously takes precedence over those. :xilien:

Eh, I just canceled my preorder for UA Red King, for now.
I'll get it and the New Edition of UA Ultraman closer to the beginning of August.

I'd rather pay for my X-Plus Godzilla 1989, and S.H. MonsterArts Fire Rodan when they release before getting anything else.

My Revoltech Alphonse Elric, from "Full Metal Alchemist" arrived today. 2,580 JPY( approx. $32 US ), 1,090 JPY SAL Registered( approx. $14 US ), from AmiAmi. Only 11 days in transit! So, based on my experience, 10-14 days, to get here, AND a tracking #. Nice. :huge:

Got these a couple of days ago thanks to James Bond of Radioactive Toys, who has a TON of Godzilla and Ultraman Bandais he's been collecting throughout the year which will be for sale at G-Fest in July...

Aside from the green (tagged!) Astromons, which is from the 1989 line, everything here is from the 1991-1993 Ultramonster series. This leaves only four figures that I need in order to complete the 70-figure collection from that time frame: Namegon, King Joe, Takkong and Kilazee. Unfortunately it seems finding an undamaged King Joe from that era is impossible. But we'll see.

1984 Great Monster Series Ghidorah:

He dwarfs the standard-scale Bandai MKGs, and the Grand King Ghidorah figure as well:

Heat the vinyl around the slots, insert wings, vinyl cools, wings trapped.

I also reinforced the tabs with a layer of tape, to prevent them from snapping if they got bumped, as they're prone to do.

About a year ago me and my friend Greg took a trip to our friend Rob's house in Brooklyn, since he was selling his collection and invited us by to check it out. I ended up coming home with around 25 different Ultramonsters that day. Today we went back into Brooklyn to pay him another visit, and I came home with these guys...

Image

1991 Namegon, 1991 Kilazee, 1994 Gudon, original 1996 Golza, another 1991 Baltan and...ummm...what's his name again?

Either way, Namegon and Kilazee bring me even closer to finishing off the 1991-1993 line. Only King Joe and Takkong to go. Of course like I said it's tough to find an undamaged original King Joe. Meanwhile, while Monster Empire lists Takkong as number 41, the Figure-Oh Bandai Ultraman magazine doesn't picture it and skips 41 entirely. What gives? Anyone know what a 1991-release Takkong even looks like?

Are you absolutely sure it was actually released? Does anyone have a photo of it?

EDIT: Is this it?

So you buy multiples of the same mold? What if it's not a drastic color variation? Do you buy it? Where do you draw the line?

Anyhoo grabbed my second MISB Spacegodzilla today. Preordered my MISB Moguera as well. Two Red Kings and one Max. My God it's gonna be an expensive year. I'll need a second shelf before long!
