Nice! Belial is awesome and Zero is definitely the best of the early Ultras.

I've actually only seen the movie once and couldn't remember with 100% certainty if it was a tropical island.

Buy it! The DVDs are cheap, and its one of my favorite non Godzilla kaiju movies. I enjoy the movie so much that I've been looking for this figure for a while now.

By the way, the Marmit Monster Heaven Rodan's wingspan is a whopping 14 inches....and the GB King Ghidorah *dwarfs* it.

Somehow it manages to be more accurate than anything Bandai has put out. How tall is he exactly?

I went to my local comic shop.

They had a SH Arts Heisei Godzilla for $69.99. After seeing how big it is - 0% interest. Too small for $70.

I did snag some loose Godzilla Great Battle Box A Mothra larvae and Mothra larvae in egg for 50 cents each.

Got all these guys from a handful of ebay auctions I won last week. Aside from the Tyrant (which is from 1994) they're all from the 1991 line and apparently they were all purchased at Pony Toys in NJ.

These are the ones I'm keeping...

And once I match them up to the ones I already own and see which are in better condition, these are the characters I plan to sell...

Nice Ultras, Mike. I'll definitely be getting back into the Ultra lines once the cashflow picks back up this summer. For now, here's a pic of the awesomeness I bought from you last week!

Agreed. That is one of the things that holds me back from investing from this line...the scale is too damn small for such a price. If they were closer to the 8-9 inch scale that I prefer to collect in, then I would be all over them. I have found these figures quite often around Tokyo/Akihabara for about half the stateside price, but even that seems too pricey for their small size. Add in the fact that they're extremely easy to find (as I mentioned, in Japan you can literally trip over them in some stores, that's how often I see these figures). However, I will most likely pick up at least one at some point in the future (most likely the Godzilla one)....

Not to be a "hater" but yeah...the sculpts look sick on the Monster Arts figures but that's pricey for such a small figure. I might buy a few some day, but for that price they'll have to be version of characters I really like...and anything Hesei related will not be on my short list.

Still, congrats to you who love the Hesei era and own these figures.

This is cheaper and IMHO better.

Indeed. I don't like a lot of articulation in figures so something like that appeals to me ALOT. X Plus is where it's at for me, but their prices are a little ridiculous and their sculpts are all over the place. 10 years ago we had some pretty decent X Plus figures for great prices...the Gamera and Ultra Q figures namely.
