If I remember correctly, it recommends that you paint it in a black wash so that the black just gets into the cracks. Looks pretty cool like that.

Newest addition: Gigabrain Jet Jaguar. I love the green glitter! It was also only 29.99 on eBay too so I HAD to get it. Also, ignore the paint job there, I need to repaint that room.

A black wash is just black paint mixed with water to make it thinner. It settles into the cracks that way. And thanks, it is cool but find your own.

Incase you can't see the pic, it is Iwakura's Bullmark MG74

I this little puppy for $6 (came with a free chirashi for the new Ultra zero film). Litteraly little. Smaller than my Bandai Hyper figures, though atleast it is taller than my Yamakatsu G2 Gamera.

Legion - do you have the Ultraman Jamila Bandai vinyl? I keep debating getting it. There arent many on eBay in the US and no website sells them. I wish theyd do an Ultraman Powered Jamila, but alas no...

Nope, but I want one.

I noticed. It's not that common for a more recent figure. I guess it's only the monsters who keep appearing in new movies and series whose Bandai toys are in abundance.

I wish theyd do an Ultraman Powered Jamila, but alas no...

They did do a Powered Jamila.

Got my new X-Plus Godzilla 2003 today. It was ridiculously cheap on eBay ($160 including shipping) so I had to get it. I am glad I did because it is an awesome figure!!

That is one beautiful and detailed Goji figure  :D

This appeared at my doorstep today :D

Image

Image

Sized up with GMK Ghidorah. Looks good short or too tall don't care the figures are great in detail! :D

Image

That's all for now. Now to start getting Halo figures,TFA, and save up for Pokemon White! :D If I find Destroyah from the same wave I'll get him to go along with Burning Godzilla I have. I checked the box on my GMK Godzilla and not interested in the two MG and Space Godzilla. Destroyah and Anguirus will be the last then it's off to find Bandai ones to go with my figures. If anything catches my eye that interests me on Godzilla Bandai BC or just Bandai I'll post em here. For now a big break :D

Dammit, Ultramonsters are like crack. Once you buy a few you can't stop. Venkron, King Joe, Twin Tail, Jeronimon, Mefilas, Gomora and Antlar all joined my collection today. I like how the Mefilas sculpt (dated 1983) is strong enough to still be used while everyone else are updated versions of older figures. I like how Bandai is committed to improving sculpts in this line over time. Venkron kicks way too much ass to possibly be legal.

Image

Here's the newer Antlar with the older sculpt. I'm aware the more recent figure doesn't specifically represent the character as seen in the older Ultraman series but I really appreciate how close in design the two monster suits are that it really doesn't matter.

Image

Gomora. Holy crap what a difference 17 years makes.

Image

Some of my favorite Ultramonster designs. Anyone who rags on Toho monsters for being strange has never seen these guys.

Image

Back that thang up!!

Image

EDIT...Surprised by another package just a few minutes ago...

A 1983 Bandai vinyl Gyango. I love this character and I love this little toy. It's actually a UK release with an English language tag. I know several figures were released this way in the early '90s. There's no date on the card but the stock number seems to place it around 1991.

Unfortunately the figure and tag came reeking of cigarette smoke and caked in dust. It didn't want to have to do it but I ended up snipping the tag and scrubbing the toy under the bathroom faucet. The smell is still there (and like several of my vintage toys will probably go away in time) but at least now it's clean. I had offered the seller (from Greece) a lower price than what he had this listed on ebay for, so I'm confident that I did okay.

Everyone gets their kaiju fix one way or another.

Venkron

I'm pretty sure the name is "Velokron/Verokron."

And I agree, its awesome. I dunno what it is about this figure, but its easily one of my favs.

Oh, and it gets +10 cool points for INDIVIDUALLY SCULPTED TEETH HOLY CRAP.

Lol. We've all been there.
