Why not Tamashii? If anything, Tamashii could do very well with the Jaegers.
I will explain slowly why you are wrong.

Re: Pacific Rim figures the Sequel
this is mostly from a personal stand point for tamashii acquiring the license would be the most likely scenario, however the biggest reason for why I don't want tamashii doing PR is because I'm certain all jaegers and kaiju will be in the 6" scale, and the scale of the neca line, whatever it was, served as the foundation for my collection and if tamashii starts doing PR that pretty much destroys what I've created and after all of the time and money I've spent building it up over the years it just feels like a gigantic punch in the gut. Regardless of my input I do think tamashii would make nice renditionsCastellan Zilla wrote:Why not Tamashii? If anything, Tamashii could do very well with the Jaegers.

Re: Pacific Rim figures the Sequel
You founded your collection with figures from a company that pretty much only exists because they find loopholes in contracts and licensing to make stuff in different scales than the norm?
Dude, not a problem. If it were something like Slattern was 6" tall in total, yeah that's an issue. You still have the figures you bought, you're just not getting anymore from NECA. You can own both.

You didn't get the 18'' jaegers and Knifehead, then? Them being a different scale and all. You can own both, like Steven says. I don't see why this is supposed to be a problem.

"Please note: This is a model that you will have to build yourself and add fine details to, such as weathering and panel lining. It will have articulation engineered into it. The plastic will be color correct, though (ie green will be cast in green plastic)."UltramanGoji wrote:lolbyeNECASJM925 wrote:The Cherno model will be released in December! More info here:

I'm now thinking about buying the 18 inch Cherno Alpha and Striker Eureka to go along with my Gypsy.

I love the 18" Cherno, the only thing I don't like about him is his middle ball joint is wobbly. He could have been a little better engineered in the middle section, but other than that he is great. Love his light up feature.Anguirus wrote:I'm now thinking about buying the 18 inch Cherno Alpha and Striker Eureka to go along with my Gypsy.

Both are awesome, though my Striker's left foot is kind of warped, I think from all the time he spent inside the box.Anguirus wrote:I'm now thinking about buying the 18 inch Cherno Alpha and Striker Eureka to go along with my Gypsy.

I'm still upset that 18 inch Chenro is not being reversed into the 7 inch scale.

The 7" figure came out first. Unless that's not what you mean?

Neca makes 7 inch Jeagers first, then they make 18 inch versions with better sculpts and articulation act. Then they scale these 18 inch figures down and release them as 2.0 or Ultimate Jeagers.Fermix wrote:????miguelnuva wrote:I'm still upset that 18 inch Chenro is not being reversed into the 7 inch scale.

The 18 inch Chenro is superior to the 7 inch one.

They only did that with Striker and even then, only kind of. There are still articulation differences. And no, the 18" is not. The 18" might not have the birthing hips the 7" dose, but the 7" doesn't have breakage issues.

They also did it with GD. Also watch the shartimus prime review where he has both versions, you'll see the 18 inch one does more and is accurate to the film.SJM925 wrote:miguelnuva wrote: Neca makes 7 inch Jeagers first, then they make 18 inch versions with better sculpts and articulation act. Re: Pacific Rim figures the Sequel
So you're saying a large 18'' figure has better detail, paint, and generally "does more" than a small 6'' figure?miguelnuva wrote: They also did it with GD. Also watch the shartimus prime review where he has both versions, you'll see the 18 inch one does more and is accurate to the film.
Well, like, yeah, duh.
It's not as simple as "just shrink it."

Re: Pacific Rim figures the Sequel
I'm saying that once NECA makes 18 inch versions the smaller 7 inch 2.0 molds are better for it because Neca has a new base to shrink down.Godzilla 2000 wrote:So you're saying a large 18'' figure has better detail, paint, and generally "does more" than a small 6'' figure?miguelnuva wrote: They also did it with GD. All I'm saying is see how much Striker improved.
