Indeed!

Hakuja and Shrikethorn are their names apparently.

Kinda strange that Bluefin Tamashi nations were saying How much better they would make PR figures and instead of making Articulated monsters (like monsterarts) they decide to produce vinils with worse articulation than Neca Figures? it just seems like a nobrainer to produce figures robots/monsters that would match and display with their Monsterarts line I mean Synergy at it's finest.

I'd take a good vinyl over a loose jointed and poorly painted MonsterArts

the paint on those two is looking pretty shabby in some areas though

They look pretty good to me; granted, we don't actually know what color those kaiju are in the film, yet.
...And more articulation doesn't automatically equal superiority. Honestly, from what I saw of many of NECA's kaiju, their articulation was pretty rough anyway. This is also ignoring how nice the Robot Spirits jaegers look, and how they will very likely blow NECA away in articulation, anyway.

Ooh, chibis! I hope they do kaiju, too.

while it may have been rough it could've been improved which is why I see vinyls as a step backwards from what they could've been

hopefully diamond select pulls through with the kaiju because $40+ for a brick is nuts

Please - 40 bucks is a fricken god send. Try 200+ for the Bandai Ultra 500 "Gashapon" DX Gatanozoa or any X-Plus. Those things are bricks.

These at least have extra articulation cuts.

Though - Bandai ever since the Ultra 500 line has really been skipping on their DX figures. Tyrant was okay, minus the unpainted tail and Super Grand King was just right. Final Greeza was a fricken train wreck.

Well, we're all mixed on how the Jaegers are sleek now but the kaiju seem to be sticking to the original film pretty well.
Hakuja, that's the six legs right? Kind of reminds me of Scunner.
Shrikethorn: Kind of makes me think of a cross between Otachi slightest and thin with a bit of Leather back, gorilla build.
Raijin...I guess kind of like Raiju with that open mouth trick.
They got the models for Avenger and Fury up for pre-order at Amazon.

BBTS has pre-orders open for Diamond Select's series 2 of the Jaegers. Obsidian Fury, Titan Redeemer, and Guardian Bravo.

Nobody overseas either.

Probably because the other two weren't officially solicited yet by Tamashii. They were just on display at a con, labeled "Display Only".

How soon before the figures start to pop up in retail. I really wanna see some reviews and comparisons to the Neca figures before I make any decisions.

Im surprised Flying Otachi can still be found more or less for SRP while Land Otachi is shooting up like crazy.
