Why haha, who are they?
And which company would we all hope picks up this line?
to answer both, they're the company that makes sh figuarts, monsterarts, robot damashii, etc. and they're the company that everyone wants to acquire the license (with the exception of myself) and the reason I don't want them getting the license is if that happens I will have to completely dismantle my entire collection

Fingers crossed for Tamashii! I mean, they would be pricey, but not as much as the X-Plus ones.
Who else would be up to the task? Funko? Jakks? No thanks.

Ultimate Gipsy's light up chest would look awesome with the reactor blast coming out of it.

I truly wonder if the weather affects figures. It seems that during winter time, there are a lot more "breaks" than during the summer, because the plastic is brittle. Having worked in shipping, I know that packages sit in the cold/heat for extended periods of time. When Romeo Blue came out, a lot of people complained of joints snapping. The plastic would be brittle during extreme cold (which at least here in WI, we have been having lots of really cold days the past few winters), and I've even heard of some X-Plus's coming with broken parts. These stories came out in... winter.

So, considering high heat and humidity for summer, could it affect the paint? I have no doubt that NECA uses less than stellar stuff, don't get me wrong I'm not defending them completely. The materials they use are strange, considering I have not been able to get ANYTHING to adhere 2 parts together. My Crimson Typhoon's left arm came off at the glue joint, and I tried 3 kinds of superglue, even plastic cement, and nothing stuck the arm on. I had to do surgery and put some metal into the boy.

I don't know if it's weather that makes the toys feel greasy, I think it's just whatever NECA does with their paint. My old Hong Kong Brawl Gipsy still feels greasy almost a full year after I bought it.

Get the other gipsy dangers  Seriously, none of the accessories are new save the light-up feature, which is actually really friggin' cool. UGD also has new hips, larger feet, and extended ball joints for the ankles and shoulders increasing the range of movement enough to be noticeable, but not soooo much to be significantly better.

Is that for real on the articulation? because if it is, is going to be a relief this guy is hard to give a good pose some times. And damn it actually has a light effect. "screams internally"

I actually wiped mine off with a paper towel and noticed some of the black wash was mixed in with it so i'd say your right, it's definitely something to do with their paint/washes.

No, and if I didn't value my eyesight so much, I'd bleach my eyes so I never had to see that shit again.[/quote]

Are those the same joints that are on the Hong Kong GD aka GD 2.0, or would it be accurate to say that UGD is GD 3.0?
