Only issue I've had is one wing is a little loose, so when flying it's always drooping a little lower than the other wing

I just painted some clear acrylic paint on my Rodan's wing hings, let it dry, and they tightened right up fine. I did the same for Mothra and it fixed it fine.

My Rodan just appeared at my doorstep, he's bigger than I've expected.
The sculpt is perfect, just beautiful, I don't think NECA has offered such an amazing sculpt since their 2014 Goji.
Paint apps are great, but those yellow spots are kind of distracting. I know they're supposed to simulate embers, but I'm not convinced at all. Still, I'm at awe they could paint such tiny eyes.

I hate to rate Rodan as bottom of the totem poll as NECA's GKOTM offerings because the sculpt is so insanely good but it's delicacy sets it back so much; you know you've got a problem when Mothra's 20× thinner and 100× more easier to handle.

Seems like hit or miss with Rodan, I feel lucky to have ended up with a good one ultimately, and Mothra. The downer of my 7” KOTM lineup is my MMS Ghidorah whose feet are suddenly going back to their original position after months being able to stand on its own. Mothra and Rodan flying about around Godzilla and Ghidorah battling looks amazing on the shelf.

Mine’s in perfect shape so I say go for it, it’s no where near as bad as Rodan’s wing and if it does become loose, it can be supported by the mini wing.

Definitely don’t pass up on Mothra if you can help it.

Skipped the original 2019 Goji, but I gotta pick me up that Atomic Blast version. Can't mess up eye paint if his eyes are a solid color, right?

The Atomic Blast variant looks fine and all, but that Fire Godzilla repaint takes the cake.

can't wait until the pre-order is available. I've liked all 3 of the G19 figures.

People joke about the derp eyes, but I never look at the figure straight on,.. and the eyes are the size of baby ants, I'm surprised they managed to paint them at all.
