I know for a fact Mothra is, can't say the same for Rodan as I had to go into GameStop to pick him up.

I think you have a 50/50 chance of finding them both, you'll definitely find Mothra though

Alright, I went to Target today, and I actually ended up finding the Movie Poster version of 56' Godzilla, and the KOTM Rodan. I am going to be taking them both back tomorrow.

The Rodan I got was and absolute travesty of a figure. Both wings are incredibly loose, and one the wings was broken at the hand joint before I even opened it. The stand is alright at best.

The Movie Poster version definitely wasn't as bad, but it was alright. The paint application is iffy. It looked like they completely half-assed putting the lighter green paint on the figure. So much so that the figure articulation doesn't even work, because it's been sealed by how much paint they just lazily put on there. Also the teeth paint on the bottom jaw is awful. Only the front are painted, a couple of teeth on the right side, and none on the left side. And the articulation on the tail non-existent and just not good.

Rodan arrived in the Great White North this week, and I managed to snag him this morning.

In summary, I'm very happy with this figure. His hands don't have the issues that some others have mentioned, but his arms don't hold as strong as I would like. He is holding his pose quite nicely on my desk though. Similar to Mothra, his wings have a nice translucent effect under correct lighting, I have managed to get mine to look like the edges of his wings are on fire which is really sweet. I can understand NECA's decision to include two heads instead of an articulated jaw, as I think the jaw could potentially be pretty fragile and/or look really unsightly. The leg articulation is pretty basic, but usable.

The display stand is somewhat disappointing. It's actually fairly hollow, and looks really cool until you pick it up and it feels not unlike the plastic tray the figure is housed in. Also, I cannot get the clear rod to sit nicely, and I think it needs some heat therapy.

Yeah the rod on mine sits st an angle instead of being straight up and down like the hole in the base is angled

I checked the better of the two local Targets, and no Rodans or Mothras. They did have several Poster '56 Godzillas and three G14s, but I don't care about and already have those, respectively. And then BAM is closing, so no dice there, either. I did get the Skull Island Birth of Kong comic for two bucks, though.

Anyone else have an issue with Rodan's wings coming off? I've never had an issue like this with NECA before but it will not stay on at all. I could glue it and never get to move the wing again but that would really suck.

Yeah, that happened to me too. I just returned mine to Target.

Mine sucks too......and one of his little brail as fuck fingers just snapped as I was trying to get its damn wing in.

Mine hasn’t outright broke yet but yeah the wing tip falls off all the time while posing it. It’s easy to fit back on but yeah it’s pretty annoying

Only issue I've had is one wing is a little loose, so when flying it's always drooping a little lower than the other wing

I not got Rodan but got Mothra but am lucky that the wings on her are fine.
Not been changing the pose too much as dont want to risk one getting loose.

I've actually had no issues with my Rodan (blessRNG). Only complaint is the stand, he doesn't balance very well. One little bump of my shelve and he's gonna nosedive.

Then you don’t have him on the stand correctly.

You have to mess with it until it’s snug when you pull on it

just got the incoming shipping notification from BBTS about ver2.G19 Atomic Breath (or whatever they're calling the blue spit-fire version)

I love the G19 mold that Neca did so I'm pretty excited for this one and looking forward to the Burning Version as well.

Went to Target today for some groceries and found a couple Mothra’s in stock and surprisingly, the atomic blast Shin Godzilla- wow that thing looks ugly and sloppy, glad I stuck with the original release.
