NECA Godzilla Discussion Thread - 2nd Edition

Finally made it to one of the local Targets. It's fairly well stocked; no Mothra, but a Rodan, a Burning Godzilla, an Atomic Blast GMK, two supercharged G19s, and several G14s, G62s, and Poster G54s. Naturally, I'm penniless. I want the Rodan and Burning G, and while the GMK looks like a baby that just finished playing in a glowing blueberry pie, the blue glow is still kinda cool. I'll try to get one of those, too, eventually.

The 54 at Walmart is the reissue. It has a new better paint job than the original and a beam. I think it was released in the clamshell at Walmart to get rid of a back stock of they old packaging they probably have lying around

Yep, saw the 54 and 94 at my Walmart today too and its 100% the reissue. Was on the fence on getting it, but there also happened to be a Bandai Creations Rainbow Mothra that caught my eye instead

Probably only the '54 - The '94 should be, by now, 100% new boxes.

For Atomic GMK, Neca said that they'll hit foreign markets with the new boxes "at the end of the year"

It's functionally the same as the 54 in the new box, so yes, it's the new repainted version with the white breath

Just ordered the nes Godzilla from bbts. I’ll have all of necas godzillas released so far. I’m debating on picking up the 54 with the atomic breath from Walmart just for the hell of it. Hopefully in November, they’ll have the version 3 goji19 for pre order and goji64 added to their calendar.
