I cancelled the Soul of Chogokin Dragonzord on BBTS, in favor of an X Plus. I’m using the “my birthday present to myself” excuse. I’ve yet to decide which one I want though, all I know is that I want one! Hahahahah

As someone who has collected for years, a concern I had was that my first X Plus should be Godzilla. However, after a bit of determination, I decided to just say screw it and get Anguirus. Great little fellah who looks right at home with my non-X Plus items...until, of course, I buy my second one.

I’m considering a non-Godzilla figure too, but with t being my first X Plus, I decided to hold off. A lot of the monsters that I’m looking at are a bit pricier than many of the Godzilla figures. Figured that it’d be best to start smaller... and my smaller I mean less expensive. Hahahahha

Did a last minute switch and committed to the Ric version of Varan. HLJ's price for the standard was a mere 1600 yen lower, which was a major factor in my decision. That, and watching the movie again.
(As a side note, Stormtroopers can aim better than the Japanese military in that movie.)

In other news, I picked up my Rodan '56 yesterday in the mail. Holy crap, he's amazing!

I was gonna say you're super late to the party, but then I remembered you're a BBTS guy, so I checked there and you're fine.

Save some for the 1964 too. An unpainted version was displayed at Wonderfest, so I give it 3 months maximum until it's up for preorder.

Re: Official TK X-PLUS Collector's Discussion Group
X Plus has gone mad. Putting out an entire DAM 25cm set with a new retooled flying KG with a Mt Fuji back drop.
Also announced a 25cm G65 and 30cm Fire Rodan

My feed has been flooded with insane X-Plus news. It's like they want their customers to go into debt between the DAM set and Fire Rodan.

What doesn't kill me makes me Vicious

Re: Official TK X-PLUS Collector's Discussion Group
The good news is, the DAM set was limited to 50 sets and appears to have sold out immediately. They're releasing flying Ghidorah alone with the Fuji backdrop though.
I'm mostly concerned with Deforeal '64. Haven't been able to access the Japanese site though...

Re: Official TK X-PLUS Collector's Discussion Group
I've been trying to get out of the X Plus game but man they make it difficult. I am for sure getting the new 30cm Varan and the deforeal 84 RIC and that was going to be it for a while. But I may go insane and buy that DAM set

Right there on the front page. New G65, flying KG, Fire Rodan, etc
Love the look of that Fire Rodan! Say what you will about the design, but those colors blend together so nicely. Same holds true for the non-powered form.
