Looks extremely accurate. But being a Sakai it might have a tail stand. Not a fan of that.

Those SD Shin forms look adorable! Meanwhile, I have no idea how I'm going to justify the cost even to myself for that Gigantic...hopefully it doesn't get released until...oh, 5 months after it's likely going to be released.

Not sure about the 30cm Sakai Shin; I'd like it but it would probably come under fire from my boyfriend for the pose being too similar to the Shin I already have (and he doesn't know about yet...)

I want them all. I was gonna get the standard 25cm Shin (I have the Ric), but with these coming out I might put that on hold for now. Too bad I gotta save money back for vacation or the Gigantic Shin wouldn't be a problem.

Well you still have 4-5 months to save for the Gigantic Shin so the blow won't be as hard when it hits

But the Gigantic Shin looks like it scales with the Gigantic G2k than a Gigantic Burning Godzilla, I don't know really it just looks like it does.

I like how the Shin forms appear to be made in scale with one another. Each one is from a different line, Form 2 is a 25cm figure, Form 3 is a 30cm, and Form 4 is a Gigantic. Of course when the 30cm figure gets released it'll probably be in their Yuji Sakai sub line and not a standard 30cm.

I'm late to the shin party but here I go with my 25cm from the second run :





A very nice figure, even thought I'm not a big fan of the Shin design but I didn't see the movie yet.
It looks like Godzilla came out of an Hellraiser movie.

X-plus is really on fire with the barrage of new Japan release and US re-edition.
This looks like it's gonna be the best years so far (and the worst from my wallet perspective)

Guys I found three 25cm Ric Shins for (probably) less than scalperBay at Mandarake. If you don't want the 30cm or Gigantic then go one of these.

The endless X-Plus internal debate.
One thing is certain, the 25 cm is a well done figure unlike a couple of 25 cm which where clearly inferior to their 30 cm counterpart.
(BG, GMK and BioG are good examples)
Keep in mind the tail is big on the 25cm (bigger than all of my G30 cm) and could be problematic to display.

If you really love the Shin version I think you should go for the 30 cm.
Since it's not a favorite of mine and the 25 cm is really good I will stick with it, and keep my $ for other monsters.

I think I'm going to leave the 25cm in the box and wait to see how the Sakai turns out. It could be like the 92 which didn't look as good as the initial photos. In that case I'll stick with the 25cm. Ugh I'm going to have to wait a while

So....what is up with the 25cm Keizer Ghidorah? Ric-Boy's website still lists it as "new order period to be determined in late Feb!", but still nada. Anyone heard any news regarding this?

So X-Plus is doing a poster color variant G2K. I guess they saw the money to be made there too. Can't wait to see more.
