Added in 2 minutes 40 seconds:
Interestingly, still no sign of the '62 DefoReal...

Added in 11 minutes 29 seconds:

Really getting tempted by the DeForeal Zilla. Not a fan of the line normally but the detail on that Zilla is amazing.

The perspective makes him look shorter than he actually is. The top of his carapace come to the bottom of Godzillas chin in reality, and they are of a very similar mass.

The detail is fantastic, and I am really digging the "night battle" paint job. There are a lot more colors and highlights in it than the prototype photos indicated, particularly on his chest. His mouth even appears moist.

If there is one tiny nitpick, it's that he leans forward just a weensy bit, and holds his tail just off the surface of the shelf.

The Ric Gigantic 89 will come with alternative closed lower jaw and a light up feature. Has any Gigantic had a light up feature yet?

I believe it is actually a glow in the dark feature & not the typical Ric light up feature.

Ok that's possible. The Ebay listing I read was kinda vague about it.

DefoReal '62 arrived this morning...

He's got quite a bit more mass than his brothers, and his paint job is really sweet, with highlights of a few colors...

Amazon has Gigantic 1962 for $418 plus free 2 day Prime shipping. Pretty good buy if anyone still wants one.

Amazon does funky things sometimes...

When I got my Gigantic '62 earlier this year I had been watching it slowly creep down over several weeks from $479 to where I eventually pulled the trigger, $409... a couple weeks later, it was at $385. Couple weeks after that it was back up to $479.

If there's a specific figure you want, especially something Diamond has reissued in the USA, and Amazon sells it themselves, it pays to watch it. Examples would be the Large Monster Series figures of '64 Mothra and '68 King Ghidorah... both of which have seen their prices move quite a bit in the last year... at one point the Mothra was as low as $180... and the KG was as low as $379...

Still torn between the new 1964 Ghidorah and the Gigantic 89. Can probably only afford one as I need to get a new TV too.
