I've been trying to get the crawling Varan for a while but not hocking over $400+ for it.

I just ordered the Gamera/Barugon 66 set. Really excited about it

Does anyone have either of the translucent red or purple Shin Godzilla kits from X-Plus? Thinking about picking up the purple one and wonder if anyone has one and what your experience assembling the kit is.

Biollante / Anime-Island Order Update...

There are other posts related to this whole situation if you feel like reading them. But, this is just the latest.

The good news is my Biollante finally arrived yesterday, the bad news is one of her tentacles is broken! It is a clean break and can be probably repaired without much trouble.
I'm really bummed out that Biollante arrived broken, it's just the icing on the cake of my whole Anime Island experience.

So what kind of glue would be the best for such a repair? I am thinking that some kind of "gel superglue" would work. What have other people used to repair their X-Plus figures?

Glad you finally got your Biollante.
I would use gel superglue, don't use epoxy.

NP, btw this is the type of glue I used on Kaiyodo vinyl models before switching to X-Plus (and stop building kits).
Don't use too much glue, you'll end up with nasty excess around the joint.

Open mouth G91? My guess is either the victory roar after beating KG, the pose when he first came ashore to fight KG, or his roaring pose underwater after the MKG battle.

That GhidoGoji looks sweet. I wonder if the Ric will be light-up fins or the submarine that he destroyed to grow larger. It would be cool if it was both!

Mechagodzilla II Ric comes with Geruda. And it looks damn awesome.



The Mega Buster will be incorporated somehow as well. Not sure whether it's another Ric exclusive item or an alternative piece that comes with the standard as well.

Got the new 30cm Burning Godzilla. Pictures don't do the figure justice. It is really bad ass looking. The RIC Oxygen Destroyer is really nice too. The chrome finish and green tint works really well together.
