That Fuji background in the box was a very thoughful inclusion from NECA, I thought!
Every one in this topic is super good at toy photography.
The figure is directly under four 60w Daylight LED bulbs in a ceiling fan, simulating the sun, and there's a fluorescent Ottlight off the the left, with parchment paper over it to bring the harshness down, acting as a fill light, to pull out a bit of the shadow.
Here is the raw, uncropped, unedited image, right out of the phone.
Getting a good image is really more about composition and lighting, than the camera. By using something in the foreground to force the perspective and give a sense of scale, then placing the Fuji image an appropriate distance behind the mid-ground figure, the fact that I took the picture with my phone is kind of hidden, and irrelevant, to the viewer.
I learned most of what I used for this picture from John Ruffin, over at https://mykaiju.com His photos inspired me to work on taking better pictures, and his website, especially his blog and his magazine, have some really good tips and ideas how to make your pictures better.
