I went to comic con yesterday and bought an SH monster-arts Godzilla 2000 repaint. I love the figure, but I have two major complaints. The teeth have red paint from the gums on them, which is pathetic for a $90 figure, and the way the spikes on Godzilla back are formed make them bend to the side slightly even when the figure's spine is perfectly straight.

I bought around a $300 order from them ($275 for the Crumble Zone, $15 for FW Godzilla, $30 for FW Mothra), and they contacted me months after ordering saying that they sold the Crumble Zone at G-Fest, which was months before I ordered, I believe. They eventually shipped the 2 figures but I was very disappointed. ((I did get my $275 back))

I had one asa kid, which is why I got the NECA version for nostalgia's sake. It's a great figure and, while NECA did a great job with theirs, I wish they'd been a bit more faithful to its design.

I've definitely been tempted by the 1965 figure but it's just a little too stylized for my tastes, especially since it would set me back $100 at the cheapest.

Mine cost 85 plus shipping (thank you Facebook collectors).

It does have a very vintage-style look, but the detail of the sculpt is remarkable. There are tons of "nicks" and "scratches", like a real suit exposed to wear and tear. I honestly don't think any other figure in my collection has that kind of detail.

I had one of those Kenner Aliens as a kid too, which came from a flea market. I didn't really know what it was but it looked cool. Mine was a ram I believe, or a bull... it had horns, and it could basically do a headbutt when you squeezed it or something like that. I didn't realize they did a bunch of animal ones until recently.
