The lady just gave me two Christmas gifts that took a while to arrive. G'14 printed throw pillow for the collection room and the Shine Godzilla motorized bank. So cool. My Bandai Godzilla Island Mecha G arrived as well yesterday.

my figures came in! The Hyper Gamera And Iris are extremely detailed and just begging to be repainted! Kaiser Ghidorah is a Thing to behold! It’s Massive and extremely detailed. The legs were a little warped but a day with a rubber band holding them in place and now they are good as new!

Yeah, I had the '55 in the 50th Anniversary box set which I sold years ago but this version definitely tops it. I struggle to not be a total completionist for $$ sake but was missing the '55. Anguirus I have in the original Godzilla Island version.

Just grabbed a '65 Bandai Memorial Box Godzilla with card on ebay. No representation of that suit in my collection until now. Was eyeing the xplus '65 but just couldn't pull that trigger budget wise and I am really running out of room over here.

2) 1976 Godzilla vs. Megalon theatre promotional button.

The button has huge sentimental value for me as I specifically remember receiving one when I saw it in the theatres for the US movie release. Between that and the promotional comic all I need is the damn popcorn now.

I actually bought this a few weeks ago now, but I couldn't find the time to photograph it or upload the images:

I had no idea the Mezco Kong even existed until suddenly I saw it advertised on a FB group. I didn't know how long it would last, so I quickly checked eBay and found one selling for $40 - which is maybe a little pricier than I like for the final product, but this is definitely a good figure with some nice packaging. Weight, build, and articulation are all similar to NECA figures.

Scaling is a bit tricky - he's too big for most 6" figures, but if you're flexible he can look pretty good with larger-scale figures.
