Re: S.H. FiguArts Discussion
Well I'll probably regret picking this up tomorrow, but my B&N only had one left in the clearance section for half off:
EDIT:
I opened him and he is A LOT bigger than I thought he would be. The sculpting is fantastic, but it took me nearly 40 minutes to get him positioned in a way to rest pieces of his body on the stand. It's even worse than Ryuki's dragon monster. However, the end result was well worth it as he looks pretty badass.
I do wish the dragon balls could separate and that they had stars on them though. For $50, he was well worth the price. It's just too bad that I don't even want to touch him now for fear that I may have to reconfigure his position.

Not the figure I was expecting.

Expected, just not so soon. Figured Pandon or Gudon would’ve been out first.
Still, glad they’re going through with releasing the kaiju teased at that Tamashii convention. Hope we see Pandon or Antlar soon.

Wow, never thought I'd see an articulated Gudon figure!

That's Twin Tail, not Gudon. Also looks like it's gonna be a mass release. The wife and I are excited!!!G-Matt wrote:Wow, never thought I'd see an articulated Gudon figure!

I never noticed that Twin Tail has feet before. That's a cool little detail, surely helps maintain poses.

That would be a real sh*tty move on Tamashii's part, but I wouldn't put it past them. Stranger things have happened...Petezilla wrote:^ Knowing BANDAI/Tamashii, watch Gudon be a web exklusive...
Of the four beasties we were shown, Twin Tail is definitely the most unorthodox in design, which I find it odd that he( it? )is the first out of the gate. I think it bodes well that all FOUR will be mass release. Hopefully...

I'd be genuinely excited for a Figuarts Gudis. Mainly because of my nostalgia for the crappy SNES game.

Really hope that we get SHFA Vakishim and Velokron once they get to Ace and Birdon and/or Tyrant for Taro. A neat accessory piece with Birdon would be an alternate head for Zoffy where his head is on fire.
