Do you want 6 inch Muto toys?

Post by Maverick Centigrade »

Chris55 said such figures will only come if we fans make it known to Bandai. He suggested making a thread or Facebook page. I don't do Facebook, so I'll make a thread.

Simple YES or NO.

YES! Why the hell would we not?

Granted we are most likely gonna get some 6 inch ones from NECA (apparently designs are being made), but I was shocked to see that Bandai has nothing coming out with their 6 inch line even though their Godzilla figures clearly have ATTACKS!!! Why the hell would you not have the other monster there for people to buy, especially kids, when the Godzilla figures have attacks they can use?! That's just asinine.

That is something we are definitely considering, but in the end it’s up to the fans. If there is enough interest in the enemy monsters from the movie, we’ll do our best to get them into the line."
Thanks man!

And there ya have it folks, they're challenging us. :P

Vote away.

Thanks Chris!

But to be honest, who the heck would vote new? As Godzilla fans shouldn't we be wanting to get a figure of the new monster no matter what? Usually if a company puts a good looking figure at us at a good price, we're usually the type to buy first and ask questions later. Hell, if X-Plus can keep making figures at their prices, then I'm sure Bandai and NECA could at least give us a MUTO figure.

Or course I want 6 inch Mutos!

What's the point of having a 6 inch Godzilla toy if he can't fight anything?

unless Muto does something to offend me like turn to the camera, throw the finger and say, "fuck Beef Bigshot and his furry ass" then i see no reason why we shouldnt get MUTO figs. His design(from what ive seen so far) is excellent and i see it as a great homage to the insects as well as other odd monster (kamacuras, gigan, kumonga, etc.)

I really hope Bandai realizes the potential goldmine they have with the Godzilla line regarding both the Movie and Classic series

There needs to be a 10in electronic MUTO to go with the Atomic Roar Godzilla

and basic 6in figures

I love everything Bandai does but there is NO reason there shouldn't be a 10in electronic MUTO and 6in MUTO figures

Come on guys make this happen!!!!!!

I think a vinyl Godzilla is all but assured. That figure certainly doesn't need our help. :P

Well, Godzilla's chances are definitely better than the Mutos by default.

Unless it's all horrible gimmick figures from here on out.

Collapse Action Muto! It falls apart!
Being the villains of the movie. That's a high probability. :P

Don't know if I'd buy them, but loving the toy designs floating around already. Seeing bigger, more detailed figures would be a treat.

Ya know that guy hasn't been around in a while...I wonder if the second trailer made him quit Godzilla for good. Considering his disdain for the movie and all.

Anyway, voting seems to be going good. 32 vs...2. Not bad. I hope down the line, Bandai sees this as a good sign for more Mutos.

So...why post?
...
To voice his opinion?

The only look at the MUTOs we've received are the chibis and 3 inch figures. Hardly a decent judge as to what they look like. What if we see them in the movie and they look like ass and weren't properly represented by a couple of tiny toys? 'Cause, y'know, that's never happened before.

If we get a good, full-sized look at the MUTOs, and they look awesome (what we've seen from these toys kinda underwhelms me), then I'd start clamoring for figures of them.
