Gee, they had those G14 finger puppets on display at SDCC and not a damn G-fan noticed. That little promo pic was the first I heard of those two, I figured the line was cancelled. http://collectingtoyz.blogspot.com/2014 ... a-how.html
Yeah, those lips are pretty red.

I can't see the red around the lips.

Paint... er... issues (seems to be a lips-only thing) aside I'm really digging those finger puppets.

Which company makes these? It's not Bandai, right? They look like they're lacking in detail.

Huckleberry Toys is producing them.
And they're not very big so they won't have a ton of detail, not sure what you were expecting...

The red paint is intentional, it's MUTO blood.

I don't know that it's supposed to be blood, but it does seem to be an official and intentional part of his color scheme. Which means the similar red on the MonsterArts figure may be less factory screw-up, and more following instructions. Interesting.

Maybe Godzilla was intended to have a bloody maw at the end of the fight before they switched it to the atomic-throat kill.
Or maybe it's a lovely tribute to Godzilla in the first couple of issues of the Dark Horse ongoing.

Except that the red was never on the prototype or the promo shots of the figure. I'm more than positive it was a screw up.

I was expecting the high level of detail that Bandai is known for of their past SD figures, but that was only if it was Bandai that was producing them. So I guess they really are releasing these...

It hurt Godzilla. That's why I think that.

Those finger puppets look kind of lousy to me. What did they even DO to Godzilla 2001??

Do they fit in scale with Bandai's finger puppets, though?

We'll know when they come out probably. Right now I don't really know other than they aren't that big.

I don't think that they look that great, but I do hope that they're in line with the Bandai size scale. To my knowledge, there were a few people that frequent this board that went to the convention where they had them on display. Would any of you that did go and saw these be kind enough to shed some light as to their size from what you can remember, please?

Big one's looking great, glad to see he can be more upright than he looks in the package.

I like the pose it's in. Makes me think of him half way through the airport roar.
