You know, I hadn't even thought about history sets, but there's plenty of opportunities. It'd be cool if Bandai did a 6 decades of Godzilla set with a figure for 54, 64, 74, 84, 94, 2004 and 2014.

^ Why not? Aside from the image from True Cast & that we KNOW SHMA is doing G2014, speculation is pretty much all we have right now.

I wouldn't be too surprised if there was a 6" vinyl Legendary Godzilla in the classics line too. Which would get reissued in every wave afterwards for 6 years.

So I just found a pre-order for the Godzilla/Muto destruction pack on toywiz, and it says it comes out in January...

NECA Mini-figures series one pre-order:

Gonna wait until single-packs are available for purchase, might be cheaper that way if I get lucky with the blind-packs.

At BigBadToyStore.com it says the merchandise estimated to arrive January 2014! This means we will be seeing MUTO's final design next month! :huge:

Don't trust their dates. They almost always change.

For instance 18 Gipsy coming out in Aug now? ;P
Well shit. But if it's in March, only like 3 months away. :huge:

At the least, all of these items should be on display at Toy Fair in February.

Not to the public though.
Not in person, but plenty of websites will have coverage. Check out http://www.cooltoyreview.com.

Trust me guys, there are numerous sites like cooltoyreview that will have coverage of Toy Fair, and if Godzilla is truly due to hit shelves in March, we'll see products.

NECA's sadly a question mark though, I didn't follow so I'm not sure, did they have Pacific Rim merchandise on shelves for the film's release? I'm hoping they will for Godzilla but who knows where they're at with development. Whether we get scale confirmations or see finished figures, I hope at least we see the prototype sculpt.

I do need to know if they're doing a 7" or 12" figure though, size and cost put the 18" version out of my budget but I'm counting on them for my figure from this movie, I don't have high hopes for Bandai, though they could pleasantly surprise me, I'm not counting on it, and I know what NECA can do and that would be a great figure for a low cost.

NECA's Pacific Rim stuff starting showing up online late May, and was eventually found in TRUs by late June.

Chris said that if there are Godzilla products at Toy Fair, they'll likely have a strict no-photo rule for the area.

That seems strange, I understand there's a stategic plan to unveiling Godzilla, but if toys are due in March, why still be hiding them a month ahead, guess we'll just have to see. I understood the secrecy at Comic Con, that was like a year ahead with no public trailer. At this point Godzilla's final look has mostly been seen in the teaser trailer, not sure what they're still trying to hide at this point.

He said the EMBARGO is lifted in March, as in, at THAT point, companies can start showing off all their cool stuff. They can't REVEAL anything pre-March.

I just saw it. Doesn't look anything like a Marmit to me. It looks like a realistically styled figure wih a very simplistic sculpt.

Heres a picture.

If this is something like the real product I think i'll pass on the figure. It just looks... too cheap.

The whole set isn't even $10, of course it will look cheap.
