Favorite Gigan Made by Bandai

Which Gigan figure by Bandai is your favorite? Mine is the 2004 Final Wars Gigan with chainsaws. Even though I have the standard Gigan that was released with him instead, it still stands as my favorite Gigan by Bandai.

I'd second that. My favorite is the Marmit buildup I have of the Showa version. I'm kicking myself for missing the X-Plus.

Have you ever seen the Bandai museum Gigan? It is the craziest Gigan in detail that I have ever seen! http://vinylmaddness.kaijuhq.org/BandaiMuseum04.html

I gotta agree. Look up the X-Plus version. Bandai Museum is probably the best Bandai one...but it cant hold a candle to the Marmit or the X-Plus.

The Xplus one looks nice too. Isn't it pretty damn expensive too?

The Bandai Museum version is a piece of shit. The Marmit kit, Gigabrain 1973 version and the X-Plus figure are far, far, far, far better than the Bandai Museum by a country mile.

The Gigabrain is awesome. It looks exactly like the 1973 suit. And again, the Marmit kit and X-Plus figure are far better than the Bandai Museum figure. Yuck.

Well yeah duh, kits are usually superior in vinyl figures :P

The Gigabrain figure looks really awesome. I'm guessing it's 9" scale?

Bandai Gigan 1972 (Movie Monster series).

The Bandai Creation Gigan 1973 is a close second, with the Bandai 6 inch Gigan '04 in 3rd.

The BC Gigan is not the 1973 version. If it were the scale pattern on the neck and the amount of horns on the neck would be completely different. This is supposed to be the '72 version...only it looks like shit.

Who gives a skreeonk what it's based off of? It's a piece of shit regardless.

My favourite is any Gigan that is 4" tall. Apart from the shitty Ultimate Monsters Trading Figures that are not articulated...

Thats how, I'm guessing. Which is kinda silly, since they really arent meant as play toys. They're little display pieces that you can assemble yourself, making them feel like mini-model kits.

My thoughts exactly. I actually REALLY like the Ultimate Monsters line. The Hedorah, Gigan and Ebirah are awesome figures! Personally, for the price, I would rather get those figures over the BC series of figures. They are both about the same price and although the UM series are smaller, they are miles better. Heck, they are better than the 6" Bandai Japan releases too.
