Grumble........

Yeah, you're probably right. It's that I don't like Zagi & Mephisto; it's just that I want to see DAIKAIJU!!!

Of course, it's not like I can afford them anyway...........

You know what? At the rate they're throwing Ultras at us they'll be finished before they really get to the Classic kaiju.

Does anyone think we'll get RB Gomora as an exclusive somewhere down the line? The prototype has been done forever.... And where's Baltan I?

Is UA Baltan II worth getting? I read a review that said his ankles became weak and loose really easily.

Personally I'm holding out for the Baltan I.

As an Ultraman neophyte, what is the difference?

^ A picture is worth a thousand words:

Ultra-Act Baltan 2:

I honestly never realized the difference myself, even having seen the episodes. Side by side, though, it becomes obvious.

Allow me to highly recommend the Ultra Act Baltan II. It's fantastic if a bit light on accessories. I never had a problem with the ankles....

Let me second that as well. I never understood why it doesn't get more love around here. I've had him in various standing positions for nearly a year and have never even had him fall over or start to slump. Way more sturdy than Hayata, that's for sure.

^ I don't own any of these, but I'm not too fond of Baltan II's design. Perhaps others here share that sentiment.

I can recommend the UA Zamsher, as long as you can get it for a decent price. I think the original SRP is somewhere around $50 US, but I got mine from HLJ during a sale, at 40% off, so it came in at just under $30 US. Not your usual kaiju, to be sure, but it's super-articulated, like the Ultras, & the detailing/armor is VERY nice. There is an obvious samurai aesthetic. He looks pretty killer, facing down my Mebius & Dark Tiga Ultras!

It will ship in July.

Jean Killer is from the latest Ultraman Gaiden called: KILLER THE BEATSTAR. It leads into Ultraman Saga kinda like how the Darclops Zero Gaiden did for Revenge of Belial.

Also, I really want that Gridman Ultra Act figure.

Over on Kaiju Collector there are pics of what appears to be an Ultra Act Baltan I and Kanegon. Are these known to be coming? I haven't seen any mention of them around here...
