I think that's one of the Sega figures.

That's definitely a Sega... a darn nice one at that! I had a smaller-scaled Sega Gamera as a kid that kind of looked like that one.

What figure was this?

Post by PineappleProducer »

Posting because it's been bugging me for ages and was unsure where to turn.

Back circa 2007, I got a figure of the Final Wars Godzilla at G-Fest XIII, I believe. Anyways, it has since went missing (taken by one of my many younger cousins, no doubt) and I've wanted to get a replacement of the figure, because In was quite fond of it. However, after searching the Google machine a time or two, I've come up with nothing. So the best I can do is give a description of it and hope one of you all know what the heck I'm talking about. :P

It wasn't the 6-inch MMS Bandai figure. I still have it - the one I'm referring to was approximately 3-4 inches tall. It looked just like a scaled down version of the 6-inch figure. I recall it having pretty good detail. I assume it was a Bandai figure, but I could be wrong.

If anyone knows of a figure similar to what I'm talking about, please let me know. This has drove me nuts and I'd love an end to this madness! Hahaha.

That may very well be it. If so, my memory must be super faulty, cuz I thought it looked way better than that. But thanks for responding, I'm gonna look more into that figure!

EDIT: That ain't it. But I think I found it. I knew the paint application was better. The best I can come up with is two pics, but it's a little more to go on nonetheless.

That’s the original release of the figure. The only way to get it is through it’s two pack on eBay.

the only thing I know about it is it's based off of the maquette.

Pretty sure that’s an early X-Plus figure. Very rare.

Not to mention it's the rarest coloration; only a little less than 150 made.

I believe the sets are referred to by some variation of "Mini Battle". There are three sets that have what you're looking for; the first focusing on Final Wars, the second covering multiple Heisei and Millennium movies, and the third packaged with a Kiryu and a G2014. Only the first version version (with the Gotengo) has painted claws.

Vs Gotengo: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bandai-Godzill ... 2886703139
The whole first set: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bandai-Godzill ... 2732559977

I guess the guy wasn't lying when he said it was very rare, jeez. :freak:
although I'm surprised he's only asking for like $150, then again it's listed as used.
