That popped up extremely recently, from the "Shizuoka Character Model 2017 Exhibition" (SCM2017). I think it's just a custom figure being displayed, kind of like how Alex Merdich takes his personal sculpts to G-Fest, but I'm not entirely sure.

Any help friends? I feel like it’s a random bootleg, but they sure did a nice job on the sculpt compared to most.

Shoutout to the Lion Mark profile image. +1

Anyway, yeah that's a bootleg, one of the better ones. Combines aspects of the 10" TM Godzilla and the Imperial.

Thank you! Was hoping it was a bit more unique then a random bootleg, but that’s ok!

I'm working on a write-up about this figure right now. Look for a thread to be posted titled something like "MONSTER [BOOTLEG] TOY SPOTLIGHT #1 - 12" rubber Imperial/Trendmasters hybrid

Got this resting Godzilla 2014 in a Taipei toy shop, plus there was a Kiryu there in the same pose as well. Feels like polyresin rather than vinyl.

Any ideas?

This popped up on images when I looked up "godzilla nose" for reference in Blender.

Is this some unreleased Trendmasters figure? https://sg.carousell.com/p/godzilla-fig ... 154083351/

That's definitely a knockoff.

I was also thinking that because of the weird colors

I am hoping someone can help me here. Now I bought all these figures just because I liked how they looked, except for the brown and teal Marmit Godzillas (I got good deals on them... I think...? They were like $40 each, so I just grabbed them). However, I do not know anything really about them. The black and green Marusan G'54, Marmit Gigan and MechaGodzilla I got off of Mandrake for about $80 each (I think). I am not sure what brand the MechaGodzilla is, but I believe it's a Marusan. What I really just want to know is what year they are and how limited of runs they were. Virtually, are they rare? Did I over spend, etc? These are the Top 5 figures I own that I really know nothing about and just bought them because I thought they looked good.

Clubtokyo is your friend...

Gigan is a Marmit Monster Heaven Superfest exclusive colorway. Unsure of the relese year but that mold first came out in or around 2002. http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemL ... tentID=740

Godzilla ‘89, also Marmit Monster Heaven, looks like the blue mail away version, mold first released in 2004. http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemL ... entID=1435

The brown Godzilla ‘54 is Marmit, but doesn’t seem to fall under a specific line (Monster Heaven, Vinyl Paradise, para-babies, etc.) and is also from 2004. http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemL ... entID=1540

The green and black G’54 looks to be a Marusan mold first released in 2004. http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemL ... entID=1339

No idea on the mechagodzilla.

Whoo, thanks you guys. On the black and green Godzilla, I knew it was a Marusan but now that just remains as the only one I have no idea how rare it is or when this variant came from.

I've got an SD Godzilla 2002 but I don't know much about it. It's a variant of the SD Godzilla 2003 from the "Kaiju Oh Kurabu" set.

Back when Club Tokyo was still around, they had a pretty comprehensive list of most of these kinds of candy/capsule figures, but never had this one listed. I imagine it's some sort of obscure exclusive or perhaps even a chase figure, but it's unique for featuring a new chest sculpt instead of just being a paint variation. Not a custom or a bootleg either.

Here it is with Godzilla 2003 -

I'm pretty sure I've also seen pictures of an SD Kiryu 2002 with yellow eyes; the normal version from this series only featured red eyes. Don't suppose anyone knows anything else about these?

Speaking of, does anyone know what the story behind Clubtokyo.org shutting down is? I'm family certain that this happened recently (the past 6ish months maybe?) and I didn't see any farewell posts or notices anywhere.

As for the SD figures you're asking about, I've only ever seen the scar version of that Godzilla and the red-eyes Kiryu. There were a few listed on the Japanese Rakuten but just the ones you already mentioned.
Godzilla & Gamera High Grade (gashapon) collector.

Maybe they lost the domain? Vinylmadness was diwn for a while too until it got rebranded into... well... It got rebranded into something

Try using the wayback machine. It works whenever I want to revisit vinylmadness
