Really though, does anyone know if that's true or not?

It's probably just temporary. They'll be back in stock soon enough.

Do you think the new Showa Premium BANDAI "Kaiju Bangaichi" Ghidorah is in scale with the 6” scale 50th memorial box Godzilla figures? Looks like he is 9.45” high. I am currently using the 1984 Showa Bandai Ghidorah with the 1965 50th memorial box Godzilla.

Also wondering if the new Ghidorah is too detailed to fit in aesthetically with the memorial box figures?

Eh I don't think so. The 50th anniversary memorial box figures are really pretty nice.

I think it's a tad to big to fit with the 6" BANDAI figures, since it stands at 24 cm tall. It's made to fit in scale with the other Kaiju Bangaichi figures, which stand at 7" to 8" tall.

I found this review of the new Bandai Kaiju Bangaichi Ghidorah on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGwALgEAfas

Here is a screenshot to compare scale with a 6" scale Godzilla:

Here is the 1984 Bandai Ghidorah with a 6" scale Godzilla from UltramanCronos' and Samson West's reviews:

Yeah. Hoping to see some reviews with comparisons as they start to arrive. Kind of only want the gold version even though the blue is awesome. Just don't have room for both.

The HLJ still says they're discontinued and not expected to be restocked.

Doesn't make any sense to me, as those three were regular MMS and not some sort of special edition. Betcha they DO re-stock them at some point...

EDIT: G54 and FW Anguirus are back up. Says "In Stock 3-5 Days"...

Am I the only one debating getting the upcoming Ghidorah two pack? Seems like I have been deliberating on it for a month now.

Maybe. I'm not spending that kind of scratch on KingGhiddy product...

I was tempted when the set was first announced, but I decided between X-plus and Gigabrain, I’ve already got all the 1964 Ghidorah my collection needs.

It's way too expensive for what it is. I'd gladly pay $110 or so for the regular styled figure but I have no interest or use for the rainbow colored concept version.

Yah, when I paid $75 apiece for the Premium Bandai Gargantuas, I didn't balk. Good Gargantua merch does not show up regularly. Ghiddy merch is frequently available...

Yeah I don't mind A new Showa Ghido. I only have the 1984 one. I like the concept version as ell. The price was pretty steep after postage. $110 a piece. I am sucker sucker for 1954 Goji and bought that. The following releases they ahve planned are nothing new at all. I already have enough 74 Mech and a Fake Godzilla. I am hoping for more Kaiju Bangaichi releases. That's what I really do not mind paying higher prices for even though I believe they would sell just fine if released like regular figures. Who doesn't want a Ebirah or Spiga. Then there is the Yog Trio or Manda, Varan.

I am debating as well but don’t have room for both versions.

Picked my KG’s up today, but waiting on unboxing until Monday. Work weekend.
Godzilla Vs Megalon was my first in 1976, Damn I'm old.

We might get vaporized along with this base before long. Let’s just relax and have some coffee

I got my hands on the new Gigan and Anguirus today, I ordered them a while back.
They both look better in person. It's a shame about the lack of paint, but Anguirus doesn't look as "blocky" in real life. His claws are a really odd greenish colour, though, I honestly would've preferred them to just use the same paint colour as the horn crest!

I didn't bother getting the 54, though, since I already have the NECA one. I see no real reason to want to pick up a figure that is in a boring pose, smaller than my NECA, and has both worse paint and worse articulation than the original release.

By the when, when do you guys expect the Gamera to be available?
