Keeping an eye on Amok Time's site. They carried Gaira, Sanda, Giant Frankenstein. They'll probly carry this one too...

Re: Official Bandai (Japan) Thread 2.0
From ME too, dog. The Gargantuas never got a lot of toy love over the years, so when Premium Bandai offered the vinyls, I had to have them, and $70 + free shipping didn't seem TOO bad. But Anime MechaG is a NEW thing, other iterations will follow, so I'm not forking over THAT much scratch for the thing. A somewhat inferior MMS will likely follow at some point, and I will settle for that one. $119, my azz...

Just wait for it to start popping up on Mandrake for regular Japanese MSRP.

It's not. It's a Master Work Movie Monster Series.
Also truly, there's never been a series of bandai premium figures. It's all old goats in facebook groups who don't realize bandai uses the webshop to sell a whole bunch of stuff and made up names. The line is 怪獣番外地 which is either Extra Monster or Monster No. Outer/Number Outside (which, the latter makes sense as it could mean outside the usual offerings = extra). Yeah. Same folks calling it the Howler Desu Goji when Roaring is always used, never was called Howler.

Crawling Baragon was a no go months ago. I am still upset we aren't getting an Oodako, which I get my hopes down for a Zilla this year as a 20th Anniversary thing.ArchdukeSquidlyIII wrote:What happened to Baragon then? Really want to get my hands on the new MMS Godzilla Earth. Love the paint and I need a POTM Godzilla. REALLY wish Bandai would reissue Orga or Monster X.

I pre-ordered Anime MechaG from the place I ordered Monster Frankenstein. Anime MechaG was $54.90 + Registered AirMail $19.70 total cost $74.60UltramanGoji wrote:Yep, they've got a listing u-MandaSaurus wrote:Keeping an eye on Amok Time's site. I think that design, particularly the head and face, is Ugly AF.
Hell no I wouldn't pay that for it. Lol
Poor MechaGoji looks like a big pile of shards and scrap metal in a vague dinosaur shape. That face is terrible though. No personality whatsoever.

Yep.. $74.50 and I had to wait a month for return that they fought me on after they sent me a broken Frankenstein. I will never ever ordered from them again. It was crappy package unreal and unprofessional. They fought me the whole way, PayPal stuck to them in the end and made they pay shipping but they didn't want to pay anything.Mkyuncle wrote:I pre-ordered Anime MechaG from the place I ordered Monster Frankenstein. Awhile ago in this forum it was reported Bandai didn't want to do Baragon because they had the standing one out not to long ago and instead we were getting Oodako but then months went by with no info Ookado.Godzillian wrote:Got a source that Baragon was canned?OGMechaMothra wrote:Crawling Baragon was a no go months ago. Didn’t they have pictures of a crawling Baragon though? I’m pretty sure they were posted here awhile back?

It's odd to me how almost all of the Millennium series monsters with the exception of Kiryu have not seen remakes or reissues. It's not like the molds haven't been created.GodzillaFreak99 wrote:cloverfan98 wrote:REALLY wish Bandai would reissue Orga or Monster X.

Ghid-or-ah
or
Guh-Door-uh
?
I hear it in the movies as Ghid-or-ah,..but I hear American reviewers say, Gah-Door-uh.
maybe it's my ears, I hear in English often the emphasis is placed on the second syllable, and in Japanese the emphasis is placed on the first syllable. I hear that in a tons of words, too.
Like in a Japan show you'll hear, "ACK-key-ko",..but an American will say, "Ah-KEY-ko".....
...maybe I just watch way too much Japanese stuff the past couple years and English is starting to sound weird to me.
Anyway, decent review. Thanks for posting it. I have the figure and like it a lot.
