@1:30 for the size.

Yeah it's big. Yes, it does come with a piece of gum. $200 worth? Eeeh -

The sculpt looks so flat and undetailed... the tiny MMS or SHMA look superior in that department. Glad I didn't shell out 200+ for this. I'd have kicked myself after receiving... this thing.

I admit, I'm a sucker for obscenely over-sized Godzilla figures. I truly am. And this is arguably the prettiest Godzilla Earth figure. But $200 for just a giant hunk of vinyl? I feel like they could have done SO much more. SOME articulation? Even just average Bandai vinyl levels? SOMEthing?

I was tempted purely because of the size of it, then I saw the close ups and saw how soft and undetailed all the details are. And the paint looks pretty bad up close.

Love the size of it though. I really want the giant Shin but I dont' want to pay like $800. for it.

$200. is tempting but not when the paint looks gross and the details look like mush.

Oh well.

Question about the new Kiryu: is it the same size as the MMS Kiryu with the spear arm that was released a while back? The sculpt looks very similar outside of the arms and the battle pack.

Yes the new one is 6’in. It’s a downscaling of the 8’in one

Ahh okay. I thought it was a slightly altered sculpt of my 6-inch Kiryu with the spear arm, which is an alright interpretation of the robot. Compared to my other 6-inch figures, my Kiryu is somewhat small. Maybe I will buy the new Kiryu then.

WHOA! That thing is huuuuge. I think I need it in my life. Whatever is lacking in sculpt it makes up for it in the Irish Spring like colors!

Speaking of G17/18, here's my review of the new Thermal Radiation Version:

Nickname for the new anime Mechagodzilla, I'm assuming. It has Stegosaurus-like back plates.

We'll probably get a vinyl, don't worry.

I'm sure we will, and I shall buy one. My MKG and G2017 Thermal Radiation vinyls arrived yesterday. Both very nice... :D

And I wondered why Bandai never said something about a AMG.

Woah! 4.600Yen for that one?
Looks like a pretty decent and good sculpt though.

Definitely looking forward to buy him :D
