No problem broski! Vinyl figures are my favorite thing to collect. Try Mandarake. They got a fuckton of Godzilla and Ultra Monsters for insanely cheap prices. You just gotta figure out how to work around the somewhat comical language barrier on the website (Gigan being called "GuyGun" still makes me laugh)Stump Feet wrote:Well, I'm certainly a n00b so I appreciate you guys baring with me as I get the hang of things lol.

Any advice on this guy? He doesn’t look the most accurate to me

That's from the Ultra 500 series, which downsizes the figure and has subpar pain and detail. It's like 5 inches tall.Stump Feet wrote:Any advice on this guy? He doesn’t look the most accurate to me

Re: Official Bandai (Japan) Thread 2.0
I thought it looked off compared to the other Bandai Ultraman’s I was seeing, thank you for the 411.
I’ll just buy the Gigan today instead
Added in 5 hours 6 minutes 12 seconds:
Hot damn, I didn’t expect him to come this fast…
All and all, he’s not bad for a MMS with very limited articulation, I’m very content with my first Japanese vinyl.
Went ahead and ordered Gigan the second I snatched this guy out of my mail box, hoping to see him come in Monday. Cannot wait

I’m so glad to have him in my collection, I much prefer the Showa incarnation, but Heisei MOGUERA has a nice 90’s retro look about him that’s almost as good as the early 50’s sci-fi design so I’m happy.DirektorSplennic wrote:Thicc robo penguin
Been watching a lot of Gigan reviews today and gotta say, I think I’m even more excited to see him, hope he lives up to the hype.

I own another version of that Gigan figure. Trust me it's a beauty.Stump Feet wrote:I’m so glad to have him in my collection, I much prefer the Showa incarnation, but Heisei MOGUERA has a nice 90’s retro look about him that’s almost as good as the early 50’s sci-fi design so I’m happy.DirektorSplennic wrote:Thicc robo penguin

Gigan looks great in person.
i have about 10 of the Ultra 500 series, they're fine for what they are. Inexpensive little 5" figures.

I have it, and it's pretty darn good for what it is. What's even more interesting is the differences between him, Zoffy, and Jack. Their heads are different, and accurate to their onscreen appearances. The paint on their backs is lacking, but not for Ultraman. He's fine.Stump Feet wrote:Any advice on this guy? I'd change my username if I had the chance. It's a typo. It's supposed to be "66," and it's a very unfortunate thing to have on my account. Please help.

Can I see some pictures because the head and neck shape look off to me, I prefer a slimmer necked Ultraman

If you like SpaceGodzilla, there was a recent MMS SG that pairs nicely with him.Stump Feet wrote:I thought it looked off compared to the other Bandai Ultraman’s I was seeing, thank you for the 411.

Also now you can start your Moguera collection.

I thought about it just to go with MOGUERA and my NECA 94 but I’m just not that big a fan of him, besides the upcoming NECA 64’ I’m kinda burned out on Godzilla’s, hoping to expland my collection with more monsters.
Thinking really hard on pulling the trigger on Anguirus when he comes out, I just wish I didn’t hate the design so much but I’m not sure where I’d find a cheaper Anguirus of any kind so I guess I’ll just have to bite the bullet.

Oh snap, tagless or not, he looks really nice. I like the sculpt
Wish I saw this before I bought MOGUERA and Gigan, my bonus didn’t go a long way with me buying toys for myself and my kids and a new TV

When I was maybe 6, I got the one with the green tag. Shame I damaged it just by bringing it with me everywhere (two of the horns are chipped). I hope they do a re-release of it.DirektorSplennic wrote:Eh? EH?Stump Feet wrote:A Showa Anguirus would be a dream come true

Gigan just came in, and I gotta say, he really pops in my collection, way more so than MOGUERA. I'm extremely happy to have this guy and I can only hope Bandai re-releases even more Showa friends and foes because if they're as nice as he is, I'll scoop em up by the barrel load
