^I was able to get the Revoltech Rodan for $30 on Amazon when it was still available. Revoltechs used to go for GOOD prices.

Distributed by Bandai, but not really a vinyl figure like we've come to know. It's made by Star Ace, same company that partnered with X-PLUS for those Kong figures.Nathus214 wrote:MONKE!!!

Please be in the 6 inch scale.
EDIT: Nevermind, didn't realize it was Bandai premium.

This will be made by Bandai, just like the X-Plus, for some reason Star Ace has to be part of the release to put out products from this movie from companies outside the US.UltramanGoji wrote:Distributed by Bandai, but not really a vinyl figure like we've come to know. That Kong is intestingl.. the prototype looks larger than 20cm. The Tentacle is cool though...

I wouldn't worry too much about a standard, MMS Kong. I'm willing to bet money we'll get him, and MAYBE the rest of the kaiju that Playmates is doing toys for (Skull Crawler, Warbat, etc) as well.

Re: Official Bandai (Japan) Thread 2.0
Kong's always been a bit of an iffy kaiju for me in terms of figures, I'd be down for a normal MMS vinyl of him, but I'd rather something like the Playmates kongs (2005 and GvK) because he's just such an...animated kaiju that having him stuck in one pose feels a bit weird. Even if you can rotate his arms or whatnot.

Has anyone ordered from the premium Bandai website? Tempted to order Kong from there, but I don’t know what the pre order, shipping, and cancellation policies are. Kind of an annoying website.

Yeah, it looks like you pay full up front for a preorder, is that true?
It costs more and has an NRD, but it is up on BBTS too.

Man, BBTS getting real good at making sure you put down that non-refundable down payment.

I've only ever seen it on massively expensive products and Webshop items. General release stuff from other companies seems to avoid it.KingKaiju wrote:Man, BBTS getting real good at making sure you put down that non-refundable down payment.

It's probably significant to get inventory of Kong, so i'm sure they're doing NRD to cover themselves.
