My first real Godzilla figure was the Bandai Movie Monster Series Spacegodzilla. I had a GINO beforehand.

American Godzilla: 8-inch GINO action figure
Bandai Japan (Godzilla): Movie Monster Series Spacegodzilla
First Gamera Figure: 1991 Gamera Showa
First Ultraman Figure: Ultra-Act Gomora

My first Godzilla toy was the Godzilla Battles the Tricephalon playset:

My family knew how much of a Godzilla fan I was even as a kid, and they bought this set as a gift for Christmas. I played with that set everyday. Unfortunately, I think it was eventually thrown out when the little pieces went missing.

Now I'm feeling nostalgic, so I may have to track that set down. :)

First Ultraman figure was Mecha Baltan in a lot
And... first Gamera figure was the re-release of the 6" Showa Gamera, bought in a shop in San Francisco.

How big is that "giant" godzilla toy? With it all being one solid color, i imagined it to be pretty damn small.

Well, if the Tricephaon is 7" long then judging by that picture I'd put the Godzilla at between 3-4"

My first figure was the Imperial Godzilla back when I was in elementary school. After that, never saw another G figure of any kind (lived in the midwest, the worst place to find Godzilla and Japanese related products) until the dark horse comics and TM stuff came along (yeah, it hasn't aged well, but it will always hold a place in my heart since that's all there was), then I got into Japanese vinyl figures when I attended G-Con 95 & 96....

American Godzilla: large Imperial figure
Japanese Godzilla: Yamakatsu Angilas, Mechagodzilla, Mothra and Baragon figures
Ultraman: original '80s release Keeler and Ultraman Ace Bandai figures
Gamera: this little plastic egg that you open and Gamera's head, arms and legs are inside. It was cute.
