I had a few all around the same time when I was a kid. My first was probably the Trendmasters Godzilla with the red button on the chest that made him roar. I only have his tail now, unfortunately.
Later I would go on to get the 10" Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, the "Godzilla vs. Ghidorah" battle pack, and the 6" roaring Mothra.

Mattel Godzilla was my 1st, then I ordered the Rodan Mattel thru JC Pennys catalog. 1970's
Then it was the Yamakatsu Godzilla figures for $5.00 at Spencer Gifts, and the finally Bandai made toys that hit the market here in the USA, Its was the Ghidorah 1984 Bandai that change my taste. Pony Toys in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles was the best!!! Bandai heaven! At one point, the store had a 9-10ft Godzilla in front of the shop! I about pissed myself when the Bandai Rodan 56 that came out, there was nothing like it at the time! 8-)

I never had the pleasure of visiting the store, but almost all my early 90's (mentioned earlier) purchases were from them. Yes they were quite awesome.

I've had both the 12" and 6" Imperial Godzilla for as long as I remember. I also still have a lot of the Trendmasters figures I got when I was too young to really remember getting them.

I particularly seem to remember the Trendmasters Micro Playsets.

However it was many years later before I discovered it was from the Godzilla Battles the Tricephalon set.

This thing looks familiar to me!

I had atleast 3 GINO toys before I got my first Godzilla toy:1 was about 12 inches tall and had this thing coming out of his back that you use to open its mouth, move it's tail, roar, and stomp.another is a fast food restuarant GINO toy that has a mouth that lights up when you press a button, and a baby GINO. The only one I have left is the baby.

Now my first real Godzilla toy: It was either a little pink Godzilla(yes, pink. Great choice for the King of the monsters)with GINO spikes,or the Trendmasters Godzilla attacks New York Godzilla.

My first Godzilla toy was the Godzilla Battles the Tricephalon playset:

My family knew how much of a Godzilla fan I was even as a kid, and they bought this set as a gift for Christmas. I played with that set everyday. Unfortunately, I think it was eventually thrown out when the little pieces went missing.

Now I'm feeling nostalgic, so I may have to track that set down. :)

How big is that "giant" godzilla toy? With it all being one solid color, i imagined it to be pretty damn small.
Don't try to be something else. Don't try to be less. Great things are going to happen in your life. Great things. And with that will come great responsibility.
